Been with Chase for 10 years , love em . I’m black from Texas , not a robot . I just read all the 1 star comments and they were hilarious cause I been there before . But tbh it’s something I did and knew it would happen . And yeah chase my freeze your account but that’s for security purposes only . Epically when you have done disputes and chase gives you your full refund while the dispute takes it 1-2 weeks . Chase is the best bank you can get if you keep money coming in . If you don’t have a business with steady income then try a credit union . I’m out this sucker . Don’t let anyone tell you not to go chase the money with Chase .

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. We had our pinpad not receive payments, buttons sticking and unable to use tap. Took a few weeks of back and forth with customer service to finally get them to send us a new one (after them telling me numerous times it wasn't them that provides the pinpad... ). Then once we received the pinpad, there was no instruction on how to install and initialize. I tried doing it myself (as they said they don't provide a tech for this). After talking to my POS system, they asked for additional info from Chase in order for them to help me initialize the new pinpad, which Chase could not provide (and they even doubted the POS systems need for this.. why would I lie?) . Thus rendering our system unusable. Just a complete nightmare. Avoid if you can.

Six years as a small business client

Six years as a small business client, and this is how Chase treats you when issues arise.

Customer service is robotic, dismissive, and completely useless. Reps talk over you, stick to scripts, and can’t connect you to the departments that actually make decisions- many of which conveniently don’t take calls or “aren’t available.”

Within days, our account was hit with multiple payment holds, each taking 24–48 hours to review. After expressing frustration and mentioning we may leave, Chase placed another hold, then closed our account and informed us they would keep our funds for up to 180 days.

Money already earned. Services already provided. Staff and expenses still due.

No warning. No real explanation. No urgency. Just frozen funds and canned responses.

If you’re a small business, understand this: when Chase decides you’re a “risk,” loyalty means nothing and your cash flow becomes collateral.

Customers should be important!!

After spending close to an hour on the phone with a few very rude customer service representatives, it reinforces that Chase and the many games they place with their customers money.....will never change and improvement of their services will never happen!! Hopefully a legal solution is the answer!

Absolutely the worst business choice I…

Absolutely the worst business choice I ever made. The salesman who signed me up understated my yearly charges by several hundred thousand dollars. So 6 weeks in they froze my account, freezing over $50,000.00 of my clients and customers funds, which of course is my responsibility.

They are "investigating". It's been over a month with no end in sight. Even though I've had merchant services for over 25 years and provided full documentation. I've had to use my personal funds to cover my business liabilities.

I went back to Stax, who I left after over 12 years to save $300/month in fees, but this cost me way more than the fees I was paying.

Chase is a machine that will grind your business to a pulp if you fall out with their algorithm, and you have the funds to cover what they freeze of your credit card invoices indefinitely.

They are the epitome of bad, not poor, customer service.

The worst.

I'm back at Stax. I think all merchant services suck. In today's world a business has to have it.

But it does not have to be Chase.

I've been using Chase Mobile Quick Accept for two years for my notary business. It's easy to use on the mobile POS app and I can add sales items for my clients receipt. It has been very good for me and my business needs.

I would give a 0 if I could

I would give a 0 if I could. Do not use if you are a small charitable or not for profit, or have multiple board members that change.
Its way too expensive and cancelling is ridiculous.

While customer service is open 24 hours, actual resolution is very difficult.

Chase Bank lets me accept credit and debit card payments at trade shows through their mobile payment solution. The device connects to my phone via Bluetooth, and I use my cellphone hot spot to complete the connection. I'm not paying a third party to get my money. And Chase charges less to process payments than Square, Stripe and PayPal

BEWARE of Chase Bank FREE DoorDash and MA Liquor Store Jack-o’-lantern!

11/1/2025
Chase Bank offers free DoorDash!
Sounded like a deal until ordered a delivery of IPA’s from Jack-o’-lantern Package Store Ayer, MA for my friend’s birthday!

DoorDash only gets worse after my friend followed up with both Luis the delivery person cancelled by Package Store and DoorDash Customer Service located in the Philippines!

Per my friend he received a call from Luis that he was going to JackO’Lantern to pick up 8 IPA’s for delivery. Then he did not hear from Luis and NOTHING was delivered.

Later Luis the Door Dash delivery person informed my friend that only 2 items were in stock so Liquor Store cancelled delivery and Luis told my friend my order would be fully refunded. My friend then also contacted Door Dash customer service number which is in the Philippines and was told that the order was cancelled due to Jack O’ Lantern Liquor Store Ayer, MA did not have the IPA’s in stock and had cancelled order and would refund my money!

Not only did DoorDash not refund my money or tip for a delivery that NEVER HAPPENED but now DoorDash is charging me as if my friend refused delivery and keeping my tip when no delivery EVER OCCURRED! Luis’s delivery was cancelled by Jack O’Lantern Liquor Store when unable to fill my order! Luis and DoorDash provided NO DELIVERY!

DoorDash would have gotten away with their deception had my friend not called both DoorDash delivery driver set up prior to not knowing IPA’s out of stock and DoorDash Customer service in the Philippines confirming they could not deliver order due to Jack O’Lantern without IPA’s in stock and had cancelled delivery telling Luis DoorDash driver that all money would be refunded!

No one EVER contacted me of any problem NEVER use ANY of THEM especially DoorDash!!
