I bought the KOVEA Cube Stove KGR-1503. This is a great solid, compact and wonderful little stove. Sturdy and easy to inset the butane gas. No more sizzling noise as per the cheaper brand. I used it for inside and outside cooking so far.
The only thing I feel it's missing is the foldable windshield and its own storage case. It is a very good buy.

I have several Spider stoves and have added adapters to them over the years. There was a technical issue once, but that was solved soon after. Good trustworthy shop.

I received my products quickly, of good quality that worked exactly as specified. I had some additional queries regarding shipping and delivery that were speedily and helpfully responded to.

They had the products that I wanted, in stock, and delivered very quickly - ordered on Tuesday afternoon, delivered on Thursday. Very happy with the service, would use again.

Beware of import taxes because they send from the UK (I think?). I was actually aware of this through another review, but nowhere on the website I could find where they are based. So I took the risk. It even shows a European Union flag (but this is only to indicate currency. You can also choose British or American currency).

Still, Mercatorgear sold exactly what I needed. I bought the "Europe" adapter pack which was 2 different Kovea adapters for €49,18 + €11,64 shipping costs. On top of that I had to pay €20,77 import taxes (Netherlands). In total thats €81,59 for the two adapters. They should just be honest where they are from (then: 5 stars) but then probably less people would buy.

Gave prompt and really useful additional technical information. Prompt delivery of order. Great service.

Answers, by Steve, to our questions regarding the Kovea Spider Stove were quick and to the point. Once the order was placed on a Saturday, we received the parcel within 6 days (we live in Eastern Canada).

Les réponses de Steve à nos questions concernant le réchaud Kovea Spider ont été rapides et précises. Une fois la commande passée, un samedi, nous avons reçu le colis dans les 6 jours (nous vivons dans l'Est du Canada).

We did not have the chance to try the stove as of yet. However, as it is often difficult to receive exact information nowadays, we felt compelled to make a review on the customer service.

I purchased the Global Explorer bundle, and it's hard to believe how compact the burner with the adapters is, and it all looks to be of excellent quality when trying it out at home...really looking forward to using it in the wild.

Steve couldn't be any more helpful in sorting the order as smoothly as possible, especially as I am based in Ireland (EU) and I had a few questions about customs/delivery etc.

My stove experience is shaped by 43 years of travel on foot in the outdoors, with a good bit of technical climbing in wild areas in all seasons.
My MercatorGear experience reminds me of all the small climbing and equipment shops I've seen along the way. I sincerely hope they stay strong, makes me want to help.

My Dad was a fireman. He taught me about fire, showed me how a dry Christmas tree goes "boom", which happens in about 20 seconds, the time it takes from flame or spark to maximum heat output.

Kovea is top tier engineering, materials, safety baked in. I never use cheaply made stoves, adapters or parts, which I think is a big reason I've never gone "boom" with a stove.

Mercator gives me top tier products with OEM adapters. Don't go "boom".

I am very pleased to be united with my Kovea Spider Stove, an excellent piece of kit.

There are no doubt many glowing reviews here which I am happy to increase by one. In addition to that I would just like to highlight the first rate support I recieved from Steve at Mercator, when a postal strike happened to occur after my parcel was in transit.

Goodness forbid something beyond MercatorGear or your control unexpectedly goes wrong once your precious package is in transit. Should that misfortune befall you, then MercatorGear is who you want on the other end of the line to straighten it out lightning fast.

Compare this to where you might otherwise be, where there isn't even a 'line' to be on, and instead of an understanding human being, you are trying to cram your details into an online form, with nothing but a very unempathic 'virtual assistant' for company. Not my idea of fun at all.

Take the potential pain out of shopping for kit, and go to Mercatorgear as your first port of call !

I've found an adapter there that I couldn't find for a long time (it's now made under another brand apparently). The transaction went by the book, the item was as described, the dispatch reasonably quick and the packaging fit for purpose.
I was surprised to see an option of reimbursing additional postage costs for EU customers (?). I followed the instruction on the website and indeed the additional handling fee, imposed by the local operator (cost of the customs procedure itself), was reimbursed without delay.
A rare and really nice a touch at the end.
