Tried contacting the company to obtain a price and stock availability for weather equipment, no response after sending 3 emails over 6 weeks. Also tried telephoning in case emails were not being received, but again, no response at all. Very disappointing customer service to a potential new customer.

Indulge me - Imagine sitting in a comfy armchair in front of a box hedge and watching it grow.
You are now in the right frame of mind to deal with Mendip Weather.
They were the only source in the UK for a couple of spare/additional sensors for a weather station.
Took a month (to the day) to send out a couple of “in stock” items.
After sitting at “processing” for nearly two weeks, my order went to “stock allocated”. Progress I thought, but it sat at that for over two more weeks.
Finally, it went to “shipped”, just as I was about to raise an PayPal dispute, and did rock up yesterday. Although I paid for First Class postage, it came via 48 hour tracked. Okay, not 1st class, but arguably a more secure method of delivery.
I won’t be dealing with this company again, and cannot recommend them to anyone unless they are the only source of a must-have product.

Long delays in delivery not communicated.
Thermometer went faulty.
Had to send multiple emails before getting response.
Advised to return item and heard anything for 3 weeks.
no response to follow emails.

Luckily my purchase was of low value but would not consider buying from them them in future following my experience..

An utter scam - whatever you buy is not receipted, they don't answer the phone, they barely respond to emails if at all & if they do respond, it's days & days later. I've been waiting 5 weeks for an item they didn't hold but said was in stock & then ignored contact. Avoid.

Don't even think of using this company. What you want won't be in stock, even if the website says it is. The only thing they will do quickly is take your money. They are completely indifferent to the hassle they cause. I lost a month waiting and waiting and finally demanded a refund.

Ordered a spare part for my Davis weather station. Despite expecting next day delivery for an item that was listed as in stock, nothing arrived.

The phone was never answered, an email was ignored. After two weeks I ended up going back to my credit card company for a refund.

Ordered a weather station for my husbands 40th. No dispatch note for a week. When I asked for an update I got no response so I asked for a refund. They responded saying it was out of stock and gave me a date for a possible delivery. I responded with a request for it to be held until I get back from holiday. I didn’t want it turning up when I was away. No response just a refund appeared in my account. Do not trust this company to communicate or advertise their stock levels correctly. At least I got a refund.

Nobody answers the phone, just an answering machine. Don't bother leaving a message because nobody will call you back.

Only received two short emails to say the order was being sent but no confirmation email and no tracking number. After 3 weeks of chasing them up, I received no response. I managed to get a refund through PayPal.

Is this a real business or someone having a laugh?
