I did the guided tour today and it was…

I did the guided tour today and it was a pleasure. The guide was Henrik Knudsen, founder of the museum, and he was very entertaining with his stories about his many travels to the real Graceland in the USA.

My visit today gets 5 well deserved stars but I am not sure that I would have given quite as much without Henrik's guidance.

There is also a restaurant in the mansion but I didn't have time for a meal today. Too bad, it looked and smelled great.

I came in contact with Memphis Mansion…

I came in contact with Memphis Mansion to buy Good Times FTD. They hadn't have it on their website.
They requested me to send them an email and then they would sort things out with me.
Their website wasn;t up to date and many ftd were not on their website.
Now almost 4 days later i still haven't heard from them again. Also not on tiktok were i have send them a message too, they just won't reply to questions.
I guess they don't want to sell.
If they ignore costumers like this then i would not want to know how it goes when you pay loads of money to get things.

Sad lunch

We had lunch. It was pitiful.
The burger I had was very dry and was supposed to have bacon on it. One tiny strip of bacon buried beneath field greens (!) on a very dry bun. What an awful burger that had no resemblance of American style. This is my second time eating at the mansion. The first experience wasn't good either. It's not hard to make a decent BLT sandwich yet, what I was served then was very below average. What I can say positive is the staff are friendly. What's sad is the food is expensive and very disappointing. We won't return.

My daughters special day

29/4/18. My daughters confirmation.

We had a wonderful day at "Highway 51"s recently built extension to their wonderful Diner.
From start to finish - top quality service, excellent food, MASSIVE portions, and everybody had a memorable day.
Many thanks to everybody at Memphis Mansion/Highway 51, that made this possible,
