After seeing a glut of bad reviews I decided to post my experience. I love Melt! In a world of sickly sweet, nasty chocolates, it's reassuring to know that you can buy a block of Melt dark, milk or (m... See more

Simply the worst customer service ever
Simply the worst customer service ever. Steer well clear of this brand.
Arrogant. Average. Avoid.
Average chocolates for an extortionate price with arrogant customer service. Avoid.
The photo on their website is not what you get
The photo on their website is hot chocolate packaged in a fabulous tin of paint that I thought would make a lovely gift.
What arrived today was nothing like the photo. Very disappointed 😞
Dreadful Customer Care
Spent over £200 on Easter eggs. Ordered on on 7 April for next day delivery. It finally turned up on 16 April. Couldn't get hold of anyone at Melt and when I finally did they blamed Royal Mail saying that all Easter deliveries had left them on time. Tracking information shows parcel didn't leave them until 14 April. Email comms dreadful had had to keep chasing. Lost a previously good customer.
If only their customer care was as good as their chocolate.
Ordered two Easter Eggs
Ordered two Easter Eggs, one turned up smashed to smithereens, the other which was supposed to look like an acorn had a broken stem and didn’t look anything like the marketing photo. Having emailed them twice I was told they were under staffed due to Covid-19 and blamed the delivery company. They reassured me that the chocolate would taste delicious. Both eggs were Wrapped differently, one in bubble wrap which was the least damaged and one in paper which was in pieces. If a company can’t deal with orders and provide quality then please don’t be greedy and when challenged brush it off as if it isn’t their fault. Absolutely terrible service and a real disappointment both in the product and attitude towards customers who have trusted them to provide a gift to their loved ones. I will never use this company again.

Paid over 50 pounds for a box of chocolates expecting decent value out of them. The chocolates came squashed and the box was dirty with bits of chocolate smeared around the entire box. Definitely not impressed as this was bought as a gift.
Simply wonderful chocolates
Simply wonderful chocolates, when only the best will do a visit to Melt is what is required.

Ignored my emails regarding access to my account, and the chocolate I received was 3 small blocks, 2 of which were disgustingly salty and the 3rd tasted no better than the supermarket brands. Not at all worth the price I paid.
