Can't say enough about Thomas and his crew. His price was amongst the best. The crew were full-time professional painters that went the extra mile, and the attention to detail was magnificent. I have a somewhat difficult house, as it is latex over oil-stained and prone to peeling. I'm also somewhat of a difficult customer, as I not only watch and observe every stroke of the brush from the painters but also have expectations regarding:
- what humidity level and temperature it must be before they paint
- Ensuring they are using the proper application methods in the proper locations, such as when to spray and backroll, brush only, when to roll only, when to use a brush only, not to paint in the sun, allowing minimum 4-5 hours between coats etc.
- the thickness of the paint that they apply
- making sure that they get into all the hidden corners an owner would not normally see. Yes, I climb up on the roof and I look in all the corners and areas normally hidden from view to make sure that they've got two good coats of paint on them.
-the quality of masking, clean-up and there due-diligence regarding identifying and correcting mistakes.
Despite my pickiness, Thomas and his crew were calm, professional, seriously listened to all my demands, and were determined to make me happy throughout and at the end of the process.
I can't say enough about my experience with Melson Painting and would highly recommend them for any interior or exterior painting job as they have a high level of professionalism, offer exceptional value, and are very client-focused.
