I had an appointment booked 8 days ago. Was my first time using Mehiläinen. The doctor arrived 5 minutes late for my appointment that I'd made the effort to arrive at before the time! Then the doctor took another 5 minutes to prepare and then only called me in. So 10 minutes late when I booked for 30 minutes of consultation time!

I felt dismissed. My feelings and anxiety wasn't taken into consideration. Prescriptions were made which is fine, and various tests I wanted done. However, the fact that what I actually wanted could not be done by this doctor, (how was I to know?) and then to use that fact to try and get me to book another appointment later on for what was actually needed? The doctor said they were not concerned about my symptoms although it bothered me and gave me anxiety, it's my feelings that matter, not what the doctor thinks! Hence why I felt dismissed. Drive up your profits and bleed your patients dry Mehiläinen? Their health and wellbeing means nothing to you, as well as being late for an appointment! Unprofessional. Then to pay the bill, the MyRopo app/link is appalling! I will not use Mehiläinen ever again. I do not recommend it and I'm shocked that such a service is still operational in Finland. I went state and used govt hospital. Far better service and treatment and I felt seen and heard. I received what I needed and which was the correct treatment to begin with.

Very poor care and at times, the receptionist at Hervanta is quite rude. They don't give you an appointment for two months saying that there are no appointments available and that if you are not dying it is not considered urgent.
Very bad service. I am changing centres.

Profit-minded health care provider with unprofessional costumer service.

I was a tourist in Finland and recieved a phone consultation with a doctor and subsequent covid-19 test. All the services were pleasant and done in a professional way.
HOWEVER, all communication with the company in the aftermath of being sick has been horrific in its inefficiency and greed.
It is impossible to call a costumer service phone number without paying extra for that service. I got access to their app, OmaMehiläinen, but they made two personal numbers for me and afterwards by mistake and now all records of my treatment has dissapeared.

If you get sick as a tourist in Finland, I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE MEHILÄINEN unless you pay out of pocket with no insurance. And in that case, they are more expensive than any other health care provider I've used before, including the US, so maybe reconsider in that case too.
For a company operating in a country with extensive private health care operations, I'm not impressed with the costumer service.
