Misleading Dates and Poor Quality Food
Very disappointing experience.
I ordered Nido milk powder where the website listed a “best before” date, but the tins I received were marked “EXP” on the base, which is confusing and misleading.
The product was already 8 months past that date, and when I used it, the milk smelled and tasted off, so clearly not of acceptable quality.
Customer service insisted it was still “safe to consume” and refused to cover return postage, despite the quality issue. They relied on their terms and conditions rather than taking responsibility.
Selling food in this condition and then dismissing customer concerns is not acceptable. I would not recommend buying food products from this retailer.
Hiding behind terms and conditions while selling substandard food is unacceptable. Very poor customer service and I would not trust them again.

Great discounts on everyday items, very good range of products including household items.
All food stock purchased was in date and the quality was as expected.

Cheap but destroyed products
All my cans were dented and damaged, all my crisps were pure crumbs or burst open and stale. And the boxes had extreme rips and basically were useless and you could see inside my package and stuff could've easily fell out. The delivery driver also dropped my items on the floor with 0 care from chest height. However megaretailer seem to be resolving my complaints and understand that I feel violated and disrespected as a paying and returning customer, and are replacing all affected items.

This was my first time using Megaretailer...
Well, this was my first time using Megaretailer, and I've been pleasantly surprised. The prices for the items I bought were very good indeed, the despatch was nice and quick, and delivery as quick as DPD could deliver, with my 3 boxes going in various directions. At first I thought the delivery cost was a little high, but when I received my 3 massive boxes, I realised that the delivery cost was actually quite acceptable...! I'm very happy with my food, and with the entire process. I've used other discount food sites, and they're quite often not as good as Megaretailer...!!

Easy and friendly service
I made an order on line that I waned to collect the order was at Mega retailer ready for me to collect. The wrong coffee was put in the trolley but Mega retailer soon resolved the problem and the staff were very polite

The courier attempted delivery twice, after which the parcel was returned to us. In line with our policy, a refund for the item cost was processed once the return was received.
