Medstar Clinic 

We have been seeing Dr Ece Sule Aslan since my daughter was 5 months old. She is an exceptional doctor and very accessible in the times of need. The front desk staff are consistently warm and welcoming, making both parents and children feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. We've always been able to get appointments quickly when needed, which is so important when you have kids. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and clearly focused on providing great care for children. I highly recommend this practice to any parents looking for quality pediatric care with a personal touch. I am particularly impressed with their new location at Kings Cross, super central and easy to get to.

We have been extremely happy with Medstar as a family for the last few years. Ece Sule Aslan is our daughter’s doctor and I am very grateful for the wonderful care she provides to our daughter. From our very first visit, she was very thorough, warm, attentive, and took the time to truly listen to us and do everything that needs to be done. She is very careful about all the details but also doesn’t scare you when you don’t need to be scared. Her knowledge and experience is amazing. I fully trust her and I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a compassionate and skilled doctor.
We have also seen Dr. Gokhan Guvener and I was extremely impressed with him. He truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Unlike so many rushed appointments, he took the time to listen carefully and explained everything thoroughly. His attention to detail and commitment to finding the right solutions made a real difference. Gokhan and Ece are extremely good doctors whom I highly recommend!

Very king, very profession

This is my second time leaving a review after 1year of my son’s circumcision.

My son had his circumcision in August 2023 everything was normal until we have realised he couldn’t stopped itching. We went to our local GP who confirmed to much excessive skin was left on the circumcision, although the clinic and the surgeon claims nothing wrong with the surgery, we have been advised it needs revision to correct the botched job. The clinic have provided to see him on the 21st, I hope they take the responsibility for their actions and provide the support that my son needs.

I have no faith or trust in this clinic. Please take your son’s to someone who can do the job at first time.
We are due to go back to the clinic for follow up consultation. Will let you know the outcome.

The location is very convenient by tube or train, the staff is super friendly and polite.
I have talked with Mr. Erdem O. from the management, he is super hospitable and informative, also got a hair treatment from Dr. Sumeyye who was an expert in her speciality.
They have very special equipments for hair treatments which I have not seen anywhere before, if you have a concern about pain, you should definitely give a chance to Medstar.

Dr Ece is the greatest doctor ever! She was my sons doctor in Turkey and she is now his doctor in London! She is simply the best! We had an appointment with her in April and she was brilliant as usual!

An amazing clinic, friendly staff and great service

I am compelled to share my deeply troubling experience with MedStar's breast reduction services to warn others about their questionable practices and substandard care.

Initially, during my consultation, I was assured that my situation, which aimed to relieve back pain, would be covered by insurance. I was also told that the procedure would result in a reduction to a C cup, which I was fine with, although I expressed my preference for a large B cup. Additionally, I was informed that the surgery would include a lift. With these assurances, I felt confident moving forward.

After receiving insurance approval, I scheduled the surgery. Surprisingly, there was no pre-surgery appointment scheduled, which even the doctor on the day of surgery found odd. Post-surgery, the results were alarming. My breasts were drastically smaller than anticipated, roughly AA in size, and exhibited severe issues, including asymmetry, deformities, significant scarring, and lumps around the sides.

Despite being told during follow-up appointments that it might take 3-4 surgeries to achieve the desired results, subsequent procedures only worsened the situation. The surgeries left me with further contour irregularities on my abdomen and legs, making it impossible to wear certain clothing, including bathing suits, without embarrassment.

When I sought opinions from other medical professionals, they were shocked by the extent and nature of my complications. Conversations with MedStar’s staff were equally frustrating; I was informed that the issues were normal, but this contradicted the experiences of others who had undergone similar procedures.

Adding to the frustration, MedStar's billing practices were dubious. Despite assurances that certain appointments were covered, my insurance was billed incorrectly, often under unrelated codes like scar removal. This practice is unethical and misleading.

In the end, MedStar's response to my concerns was dismissive, offering no satisfactory resolution and leaving me with lasting physical and emotional scars. I was even told by a specialist within MedStar that another surgery had a 30% chance of causing more contour issues, a statistic that does not align with my research.

I cannot stress enough the importance of seeking multiple opinions and thoroughly researching any medical provider. My experience with MedStar has been a nightmare, and I hope this review helps others avoid similar outcomes.

Bottom Line: MedStar's breast reduction services have left me with severe physical defects, unfulfilled promises, and questionable billing practices. Proceed with extreme caution.

We were there for a children's check up package. Everyone made sure our little one was put at ease and us too. Every time we are there we feel we are in safe hands and cared for! Dr Ece Aslan is great with children and incredibly patient with us parents. She listens and answers every single question we have no matter how silly some might be. Truly relieved that we have Medstar in London! Thanks a million everyone. I hope they open new branches in other parts of London asap.

I've got to say I couldn't have been happier with my care that I got at the hospital all the staff are amazed in my surgeon was absolutely fantastic I had a translator with me at time so there was no problem with communicating I had a breast lift and eye surgery in October so I'm still recovering or very happy and going back in February to have a little something else

My mother needed coil removal. when to the clinic in Kings cross only to be found out the Dr doesn't have right equipment to remove the coil.
They book my mother in Barnet Clinic on 14/11/2023, another day off taken from work, but The Dr can't remove the coil this time also. She saying she cant see the coil. I find this practice very unprofessional and never to return back. We pay £225.00 for consultation plus taking time off from work to take my mother in two different clinics and no solution to my mother problem.
Please avoid Medstar clinic at any cost.

They were 5 stars until their system deleted my information that even they could see but could not access to send me a reset code to change my password to get back in to my account. So now I have to start from scratch and create a whole new account with 4 years of information. If you have another choice for a provider…take it. Stay away from MedStar

Fantastic from start to finish, friendly reception team cannot do enough to help,so warm and welcoming, friendly reassuring gentle nursing team , was seen by Dr Turhan Comez, again friendly gentle and no question was silly, very reassuring and friendly , professional throughout, cannot recommend high enough

Overpriced. They charged more than the average for a blood test (£230) and then on top of that want to charge you a further £90 for a consultation for someone to explain the results to you. Absolute joke and all about the money. Less about the care

It is very difficult to find a place with such a service in the center of London. Dr. Ilker's interest was excellent. He concluded my wife's treatment very quickly. Manager Mr.Can's support in the process was also very good. Nice to see lots of smiling face at hospital. Thanks everyone.
