Medley is overall a very good site for learning. It encourages active revision and overall good exam technique when answering questions. The AI chatbot is focussed and useful, and as far as I'm aware... See more

GCSE Student here. I would advise only using Medly for sciences to be honest with you. For things like Maths and other subjects that differ from standard writing/answer format Medly isn't great. BUT, for sciences at GCSE I would definitely recommend it for exam technique (which is more important than anything else).

it is very expensive but so worth it, i was getting grade 1 and 2 in year 10 in combined science foundation and now i'm getting 5-5. its also great for english oive done from a 3 to a 7 since year 10

when trying to answer questions for sciences and PE practice questions there was lots of things getting asked which wasn't relevant for my exam board or wrong answers on the questions which could lead to losing marks in exams

very very good for science got me from a 7-6-5 to a 9-8-7

Excellent
Medly is very useful for revision of topics you just cannot grasp however for short term, broad revision I find it too focussed, and the papers not topic specific to real papers. Other than that my experience has been seamless and very helpful.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about medly due to the price but it genuinely has changed the way I approach revision. It’s more exam question focused and you can get immediate feedback, even on questions that you got right. There are so many features and updates that just make studying easier. I genuinely recommend it to everyone I know

Extremely useful, use all the time and best thing I use and have found, grades significantly improved.
Only thing is that sometimes when writing with pen on laptop or iPad can sometimes be annoying and slow because of clicking on and off with hand touching screen.

Amazing! The exam questions are brilliant and the AI helper is really helpful and thoroughly explains topics or questions you got wrong! Im really happy with it and it is definitely worth the money!
Really good for Maths but PLEASE add further maths content some of us are sufferring out here
Whilst the website is a great idea and definitely has potential to improve students' confidence with exam questions, it can be very glitchy. It often jumps to different sections and is way too sensitive when using the ipad (needs to have some form of palm rejection). In addition to this, the AI often marks correct answers as wrong or vice versa. To summarise, it is a great initial idea but before charging a significant amount of money for its features, there needs to be a lot more development and bug fixes.
Very helpful and good for exam technique lots of questions and Medly mocks are amazing. However sometimes the marking can be a bit inaccurate and there are a few bugs such as randomly awading me 1/25 on essays which are worth much more. However very good for the price
it would be great to have revision resources for more than just GCSE exams. I'm doing my IGCSE exams (the international version) and it is nearly impossible to find resources, and barely any AI essay checkers are able to accommodate the IGCSE curriculum
I love medley I used it to go from a 6 to a 9 in edexcel gcse psychology . It has every single subject. One thing I will say is that some of the lessons need to be more specification specific since somethings are not on their.
Although i feel like the marking can be slightly lenient at times, its SO good to have instant feedback on essays, with detailed analysis on what to improve. The note taking feature and tutor also surprised me with how helpful it can be.
I have always struggled with revision methods and just took notes in the past, this has allowed me to apply everything ive been studying and get the feedback im looking for while doing it.
On the pricey side, but if your looking for something thats instantly going to make you feel more applied when revising, id go for it.

The best website for revision. Perfect for going over topics or even relearning them entirely. Using this for GCSEs at the moment- don't know what I would do without it. You can also get it to check your own essays or past papers. Howver with this feature I think it is new, so benefit of the doubt, but I think it is slightly inaccurate. As I put the same essay in there 3 times and it said 14 marks, then 3 marks, then 0. But after some time, it stayed at 14. Don't know whats up with that. Anyway, the maths function is slightly buggy too, not sure if that's just my Wifi. But I tried doing a question, and the AI started talking to me about a completely different question from the one in front of me. Other than that, the textbook and Teach Me are the best for relearning. The shuffle option is good too. I did a past paper on chemistry, then the shuffle option. Then the topics i answered badly on were shuffled into it and different variations of them were in the feature. This helped me to understand the topic fully, but also put into practice what I was learning through exam questions. For history, it is truly one of the only way i revise for it. Through the teach me this lesson feature, which took me from grade 6 to grade 9 level answers. And not only that, but it helped me to understand the basics of a topic which I have never understood. The "teach me this lesson" function is the greatest feature on here.

helped so much by creating very similar exam questions and assists you step by step on how to approach the question; by this it has improved my gcse results drastically and i am so thankful. It has helped a lot. thank you.

Medly is great for subjects like sciences and humanities and has increased my grades by an average of 2 grades however for subjects like maths, its really unaccurate and isnt realistic to your exam board. They also don't do languages and other subjects.
