Pooja was AMAZING! I had 3 tutoring sessions with her before my MCAT and she helped me so much. She was able to tweak my studying a bit and gave me tips on reading the passages and answering the questions. She was a great tutor and took so much time with me!

I started working with Hieu in June 2022, and I had my MCAT Scheduled for the end of August. This was my 3rd time taking the MCAT, and I came into tutoring knowing I needed to work on my Chem/Phys content and strategy.
From Day 1, Hieu provided me with a multitude of resources as well as a game plan of what we needed to do for the coming weeks. I left each tutoring session feeling more confident about my ability to answer difficult questions. Hieu would hear my thought process and guide me along difficult passages. This really helped me when I did practice questions and exams on my own.
Hieu also went above and beyond by keeping me accountable with my time as well as reaching out if I had not scheduled sessions.
I had started with a 501 as my highest score, but by the end, of August I was averaging close to 510.
I highly recommend Hieu as he is accommodating, compassionate, and wants to see you succeed.

Pooja really helped me to dust myself off after I got a bad subsection score on the MCAT when I first took it. didn't even want to look at my Kaplan books again, yet with her help, I was able to bounce back into hardcore studying so I could do a retake. She really guided me on how I can better focus my study time and what resources I had that would work better for me. With her encouragement, I was able to take my MCAT again after a month of hard training and not run out of time as well as step into each section with way more confidence than I had before. Overall I would highly recommend Pooja to anyone looking to get that extra oomph on their MCAT practice.

I'm really glad that I found MCAT mastery and if did my entire MCAT experience over again I would still choose them! When I first started preparing for my test I was struggling very very much with CARS and B/B and it was showing on my practice exams. I decided to sign up for MCAT mastery and I was matched with Hanes who I'm really happy I got to work with! He helped me come up with a really good study plan that gave me a much better idea of how to study for each test section daily. He also helped me a lot with developing strategies for CARS that made it quicker and easier for me to understand the passages in the given time. Likewise, for B/B he was also a really great help with learning how to break down the passages (especially when they seemed convoluted and confusing to me) and picking out the simplest ideas to solve the questions. Overall I was able to increase my score by 11 points between my first full length and my actual MCAT thanks to his help and I’d highly recommend MCAT mastery if you’re interested!

I’ve worked with Pooja for a while now. She is one of the smartest and sweetest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. She has taught me so much and is so caring. Before working with her I really didn’t know that content can only take you so far and how crucial strategy and critical thinking can be for all the sections. She helped me reconstruct how I thought about and approached the MCAT - as something that is doable and in fact designed for me to be able to do well on, despite popular belief. I used to hate CARS. I think it might be my favorite section now, which is crazy to say. But it goes to show how much Pooja helped me rewire my brain, refine my critical thinking skills, and most importantly trust myself. I feel so lucky to have run across the MCAT mastery website and her tutor profile. I genuinely don’t know where I would be without her.

I was paired with Hanes Grafe and he was such a great tutor! He helped me create better study plan, and showed me how to properly approach the passages. I struggled a lot with time management since I would re-read the passages or zone out when I didn’t understand them. Hanes would walk me though his entire thought process and show me different techniques to improve. He was very flexible, especially since I didn’t have a lot of time to work with, but in that brief time, I was able to see an big increase in my scores and my confidence when approaching the sections! I would recommend him to anyone!!

Adam was awesome as a tutor--he provided useful tools and tips for me to improve my strategy on the science sections of the MCAT. He was encouraging and made sure to help me re-align the way I approached questions, and I appreciated all his feedback! Thank you to MCAT Mastery for pairing me with him and to Adam for all his guidance!

My experience with my MCAT Mastery tutor was everything I’d hoped it would be! They matched me with with Sherry and she was excellent at teaching strategies and identifying the most important pieces on information in the passage. Not only was she a great tutor, but a great friend to me during this difficult period.

Hieu did an amazing job at targeting exactly what I needed to work on. He instilled confidence in me and made sure I was developing the right mindset for my exam. I appreciated the in-depth answer explanations and the way he tied concepts together between different sections. I wish that I had found MCAT Mastery sooner as I greatly benefited from Hieu's patience, diligence, and willingness to help me target my weaknesses. I would highly recommend Hieu as a tutor!

I am so happy I found MCAT Mastery! I found MCAT mastery towards the end of my studying on my first take of the MCAT. I really wish I would have found them earlier because my tutor, Dana, was amazing. In just the few sessions we had, just 1 month before my exam, she gave me valuable strategies to boost my score. She also was really patient and provided a breakdown of questions to help me walk through the logic of the MCAT. I have been using MCAT mastery for my retake and I am feeling super prepared for this next go around!

I had Pooja as my tutor and she is absolutely amazing! I worked with Pooja mainly for the CARS and B/B sections, and she really helped boost my confidence for test day! She got me into the habit of looking for the big picture/main idea of the passage which made it a lot easier to answer the questions.

Hieu was exactly the tutor I needed during these last final weeks of my MCAT. He is very diligent, organized and pays attention to detail. He uses every moment as a learning moment intertwining concepts across the different subjects of the MCAT. He is also very friendly and understanding. I appreciated him very much as a tutor. Would definitely recommend him.

I chose to do tutoring through MCAT Mastery, and compared to the tutoring hours I have had before; I could tell it would be different. The tutor is always on top of what has to be done and helps me work through practice questions the way a top scorer would. So far I have enjoyed my experience with MCAT Mastery.

Amna is the best!! I worked with Amna mainly in B/B and she really helped boost my confidence. She pushes you to put logic in your answers and explain how you got there to her. I was really insecure about my ability in bio/biochem but her reassurance was everything! Just talking through my thought process with her and seeing where I need to take an extra step to make a connection or apply a strategy helped me increase my B/B section by 4 points in 1.5 weeks and 6 points from the start of my prep! Going into my exam with extra confidence thanks to Amna!

Pooja is phenomenal! She is dedicated, intriguing, thoughtful, and knows how to plan for students extra-curricular activities. She consistently puts in the time to make sure the plan works for you to be successful. 4 weeks = 6 point increase. If you’re looking for someone to reassure you and help you get to your goal - Pooja is the person!

MCAT Mastery does an amazing job at pairing you with a tutor that can help you with your weaknesses and encourage you throughout this tough time! Not only do they specifically pick out a tutor with you, but they are extremely flexible regarding classes and even help pair you with another tutor if you are not satisfied with the original pairing! MCAT mastery helped me gain great confidence before my test date by giving me various tips and tricks and really taking time out to push me to do my best!

I regret not getting a tutor earlier. I would have definitely aced my mcat if I had asked for help earlier. Julia was my tutor and she was the most helpful , encouraging tutor. I have depression and so there were days where I would give up but at the end of each of our sessions I always came out positive. She truly truly helped me beyond words can explain.
As I mentioned earlier , I only decided to seek help 2 weeks before my test and that was my biggest mistake.
