I came for complete prostate treatment. I was handled with utmost care from the time of arrival at airport to the hotel and hospital. Most especially the translators in the international department were wonderful and friendly .The doctors know what they are doing. Fantastic experience.

What a fantastic hospital, state of the art, modern, felt more like a hotel than a hospital.

I journey wasn’t smooth sailing… that was until I was in touch with Yekta from Medicana. I originally booked else where, I was getting red flags. I reached out to Medicana and instantly felt safe. No ridiculous deposits, no poor advice etc… Yekta couldn’t have done enough while I was in the UK. Ensuring all the correct paperwork was in place, ensured I was partnered with the right surgical team, FaceTime calls with my surgeon weeks before it was time to fly to ensure all questions were answered.

Once I landed in SAW a driver was booked and picked myself and my sister up. The car was luxurious. The driver took time to talk to us through his translator app showing us the sights as we passed them from the road.

Upon arriving at the hospital it was smooth, straight to finance. Settled the bill then taken to my room. It was spacious, clean, bright with floor to ceiling windows. Despite being late, I was taken for a chest xray to start my surgical journey.

The following day I was allocated a translator, she took me to what felt like every floor of the hospital for a check up. I was blown away with how thorough I was worked up. I met cardiologist who did an ECG and echocardiogram. Respiratory who reviewed my xray. I had an abdominal ultrasound, met psychiatrist, general medicine and my lovely dietitian Nida. She will now follow my journey for the next year. She was/is incredibly knowledgeable. Helped me understand how the first 4 weeks would work. She is always on the end of the phone if I have questions now back in the UK.

After my surgery I had some pain, my Dr Yardimic couldn’t have been more thorough. Ran extra tests CT to ensure everything was as it should be. Ensured adequate pain medication. Visited multiple times a day to check in.

The nurses were kind, thorough and knowledgeable. Translators were on the floor at all times but the nurses understood a good level of English.

Once discharge time arrived, a car was waiting to take me to the airport.

The whole experience was exceptional. I will be recommending to anyone who asks. The hospital, staff, surgeons, doctors all phenomenal.

The hospital is amazing.
From the time you walk in the doors they are by your side to help you through the process.
Kind helpful and under standing your needs.
You get shown your room and then the process of all the pre op doctors and tests start all at your own pace.
Once all your pre op tests are completed you go to your room for a shower and some rest.
When it is time for your surgery the kind staff come and fetch you in your bed to go to theater.
You are treated with respect and dignity.
When you wake up you are back in your room with the nurses taking the best care of you.
The doctor will come and visit you making sure the procedure was done to perfection.
The next few days the nurses are only a call away.
They motivate you through out the day and night when you get those so important steps in.
When it is time to come home everyone is by your side making 100 % sure that everything went as planned. The level of professionalism and care is above my expectations.

My wife and I went to Medicana/ Umraniye for various check-ups and had a very good experience. The doctors were professional and gave us plenty of time, but we emphasize the "guidance staff" assigned to us -- a very knowledgeable and courteous young man who translated for us (in 3 languages), accompanied us through the departments, helped with additional and clarifying questions at times, and ran around helping us get our results. Each department also has a "receptionist-controller" who watched out for us and made sure everything went smoothly for us. So we felt very well taken care of.

I am happy with their good service. Nice and warm welcome from the staffs. The international patient centre at Medicana Çamlıca was excellent, thanks to him, my visit to the hospital was done seamlessly.

Initial Contact – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The initial contact was excellent. The process of arranging everything was smooth, clear, and efficient.

Transportation to Hotel – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The ride to the hotel was seamless and well-coordinated, making for a very positive start to the experience.

Arrival Coordination – ⭐⭐⭐
Upon arrival, communication could have been improved. I needed to request instructions multiple times before receiving them, which created some uncertainty.

Morning Instructions & Timeliness – ⭐⭐⭐
On the morning of my appointment, I had to reach out for guidance and received instructions about 20 minutes beforehand. It would greatly enhance the experience if instructions—especially any fasting requirements—were provided the day before.

Clinic Check-In – ⭐⭐
The check-in process was the most challenging part of the experience. While the interpreter later acknowledged this was not typical, it was unfortunately quite stressful.
It would be extremely helpful to have someone meet patients at the entrance, as I spent about 30 minutes navigating the process. The initial staff member I encountered was very kind and friendly, and although there was a language barrier, she did her best to assist, which I truly appreciated.

Doctor Experience – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Once I connected with the center and proceeded to see the doctors, the experience was outstanding. The medical team was attentive, addressed all of my concerns thoroughly, and provided helpful advice and recommendations. This part of the experience was truly excellent.

I came over from New Zealand to get a tummy tuck, 360 lipo and thigh lipo.

Organising the surgery and trip was easy as I had help from the lovely Sabrina who organised everything and answered all my questions!

The hospital was amazing, and the surgeon Dr Ali Kaan Memis did a great job and helped put me at ease. The post op care was really good and I am very happy with the results so far!

I would definitely come back again if I ever needed more surgery!
