Response

Hi Cooper,
I am not shocked that you have yet again, lied. Your response is completely false.
Yes, the dirt was a problem, after you explained to us that it was "unsafe", we helped you out by hiring a truck driver to come to site, and help remove enough dirt to be able to give you and your crew the space you needed. We also agreed to hire a skip bin, should there be anymore dirt to dispose of. On top of this, we spent 2 days trying to find places where we could appropriately, and legally dispose of the dirt. We came up with a plan to have the truck driver return, on days that would suit yourself, and your crew should you need it again. By the end of day 2, you said to us that you were "happy and relieved" that the soil issue was sorted, and you projected that the job could finish on time by end of the week. In saying this, you were also given a second access point where there would be no dirt in the way, we reminded you of this 5 times. This second access point was able to fit all of your machinery, and give you a smoother path to work with. On top of this, the way you escavated the dirt was incorrect. You were told by your more experienced work colleagues multiple times that you did not have the right machine, and you were making the job harder for yourself and them, and you responded with "shut up, it is my business, I will make the decisions".
Now that I have stated the truth. How about we move onto the many other things you did, that were dodgy.
1- On the first day, you refused to do things that were listed on the quote.
We told you that you had agreed to our list of requirements, via text message after you sent us a very vague, itemised quote. You responded with "well I must of just agreed to this on a busy day, that isn't my fault", insinuating that you would not adhere to the original agreement.
2- you conned us into paying a 50% deposit instead of 20%, as originally agreed to on the contract, due to your deposit "T&Cs" have changed. We now know, since seeking legal advice that it was illegal for you to ask us of this.
3- your behaviour was abrupt, rude, and intimidating. You would often raise your voice and use profanity towards us.
4- the reason you did not come back; you sent us a fraudulent invoice as stated in our previous review. Before we found out it was fake, we had intentions to pay for extra material once it was on site, as we had a suspicion that you were lying to us. You turned up, waited till one of us left for work, then you packed your tools and machinery and left. One of your co-workes quit on site that morning, after there was an argument between the two of you. Once you left, we were told then and there that you had no intentions of returning, until that invoice was paid. Then we found out that the invoice was fraudulent.
5- after the invoice incident, we decided to confront you, and part ways, and requested a full refund. You then apologised, and became admanent to finish the job. We came to an agreement that you return to site on Thursday, to finish the job by Saturday/ Sunday. You did not turn up on Thursday. After this we decided to part ways, and requested our refund.
This is when you completely ghosted us.
After we sent you multiple emails, and sought after legal advice, we still heard nothing. Then we shared our experience online, in the hopes to warn others.
You then contacted us, apologising and agreed to pay us back.
You strung us along for 5 weeks, trying to send us the money, but you were then caught out lying about that. You then admitted to us that there was no money.
We then came to an agreement to be paid in weekly installments of 3k, up until all of our money was paid back.
The last 2 weeks have received nothing. You have been lying, and stringing us along once again.
I find it humorous, that you are threatening to share screenshots of us "extorting" you, when that it not the case.
You literally sent us a messaged today, 21/4/26 stating "I played you at first, I have been noting that". But you turn around and fabricate an entire story on here? We also have your written confession via email of you admitting to us that what you did was wrong and apologised.
The Building Commission of NSW has already been contacted, we submitted the case with the tribunal court months ago, but retracted it in good faith that you would do the right thing, but we will now resubmit our case. We also have had a lawyer involved for the last few months. Your threats are baseless.
I truly hope you reflect on your actions and do the right thing.

Hi Layth & Hannah

Hi Layth & Hannah. I don’t appreciate your review towards my business because the whole story is not being explained.
As per our personal agreement between yourself and my self on . We agreed to refund $5,000 for the work which hadn’t been completed due to not wanting to remove the enormous pile of dirt that was putting myself and my workers safety at risk and it was also never agreed upon my company removing 10-12+ton of dirt.
Long story short - you have been paid back $5,000 and the reason you are not getting the rest and why the job is not completed, is because you refused to remove the dirt.
I corresponded to you about the dirt and how unsafe it was and how I could not complete the job until it was removed however you did not want to pay the money to remove it - resulting in packing up my tools and leaving the site until such a time it was safe for me to return and complete the said work.
At the beginning of the job I spent 3 days there with myself and 4 employees. Those 3 days were spent excavating and preparing the work site. Again, I reiterate that it was never in my scope of works to remove the dirt from the premises. Maybe I should start showing the screenshots where you have attempted to extort more money out of me.
Should you truely believe that you have a case, I encourage you to lodge an application with fair trading.

Cooper completed our driveway and has done an amazing job. His company works efficiently and communicates any additional costs.
Completed within 3 days and looks great! Can’t complain at all with his service.

I do not recommend this "business"

I do not recommend this "business".
We are still waiting for our refund of $11,114.
We requested a refund within the 21 day period as per the contract, after countless issues we had experienced with the owner of this business (Cooper). Cooper has completely ghosted us. We submitted our complaint to the tribunal court, and are awaiting an outcome.
We have also since discovered that this business is not licensed to complete jobs above $5000. He has also stolen photos of other businesses work and used it as his "own" on his website. This has been confirmed by the 10 plus businesses I have contacted from Port Macquaire and Queensland. Not to mention, his own cousin quit working for him on our property, because he was over Cooper "treating clients like shit".
If you want to deal with a fraudulent person go ahead, otherwise, spend your money with a genuine business owner.

After posting our complaint online, Cooper reached out to us and admitted his wrong doing. He agreed to pay us our money back. After weeks of going back and forth, and being in contact with both our banks, we have just found out that he has lied to us this entire time about refunding us. In his own words "I lied, there is no money".
He intends to make 4 installments to pay us back, but we won't hold our breath.
I want this out there to warn everyone, He is not to be trusted. I would hate for others to go through what we have.
