I have been scummed by this people

I have been scummed by this people, they are criminal. They pretended to be British Gas lite to make me sign their contract. I only discovered they are not who they who they say they are only after I signed. False promises of better charges, but in reality higher than all the other suppliers. I was not looking to move from British Gas lite and I never deal with brokers, I always contact companies myself. No cooling period so they make sure you get trapped in their 3 years contract. Called them to report their brokers but as I signed they refuse to help. The brokers say their fees are not paid by you but they are and very high fees! That is the only way they can get customers by laying to them.
Will make this experience public with the press
Will report them to the police
They need to stop targeting small businesses

Never go with Maxen power! Sign the petition to close them down !!!

I don't not even warrant Maxen power 1 star.
The mental torture Maxen power employees have put me through is diabolical.
Colossal bills, extra charges, supplying commercial to a residential and not letting me leave. People at the door to disconnect us. Charging us constantly for this not £50 here and there. These charges are £200-£500-£1200 at a time. Payment plans no one could ever afford and more charges. Staff laughing at me on the phone, laughing at being disabled. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a company.

A terrible company that have previously…

A terrible company that have previously been financial penalised millions of pounds by ofgem and the energy ombudsman for their practises ( google it ) if you’re thinking about changing to them then definitely do not, if, like me find yourself in the unenviable situation of inheriting them when you buy a property then don’t expect them to follow the rule book, all they will try to do is extract as much money out of you as possible, I have a working energy supply to the property I own, but maxen power refuse to register the property as being energised ( they seem to ask for things that are impossible to get ) and therefore I can not change supplier, however I have to pay £2 per day in standing charges to them. this has been going on for for somewhere round 10 months. I presume the problem is they’re making more money then they’re getting fined for there unscrupulous tactics. So if anyone from any form of energy ombudsman reads this they need to be fined higher fees as the ones they have already paid haven’t been sufficient enough to make them change their practises DO NOT USE THEM AS A SUPPLIER THEY ARE THEIVES !!
