NOT a typical visit with Mavis

I am typically satisfied with my service with Mavis. This visit was not as pleasant. 2 concerns came about.

1: We felt as though the team was trying to take advantage of us. My wife had to call at one point because I was at work. The technician asked about replacing the brakes. I understand this is a routine procedure. But my wife stated that we were NOT going to be replacing at this time. I called back later when I had a lunch break. The technician stated my wife authorized to get the brakes replaced. Therefore, we felt that the technician was trying to take advantage of my wife calling. This is unacceptable.

This kind of interaction in the car business with why people switch car repair places.

2: THEY WERE NOT EVEN WORKING ON THE ISSUES THAT BROUGHT US TO THE SHOP IN THE FIRST PLACE.

So not only did they authorize something we did not come in for, but then they did not even work on the reason we brought the car in for!!!!!

I had to call them back 3 times to make sure they were even doing what I brought the car in for.

This kind of stuff makes me not trust them!!

-----------

This is odd behavior for Mavis. In past experience, I have been extremely satisfied with my service. For some reason, this last visit was just awful.

To clarify more, the staff were pleasant to communicate with. There was no unprofessional communication.

It was just a strange oversight.
