Hi there,
I can see that you ordered 3 beds from ourselves. All of which were dispatched on the same day. As no consignee name had been given our couriers were initially unable to deliver all of the beds due to security reasons.
Once resolved they then delivered 2 of the 3 beds. In between their initial attempt and having the correct details supplied I am not 100% sure as to the third beds whereabouts however are currently speaking with our courier to have this resolved.

The Bed arrived within reasonable time from ordering but we would have liked a better idea when it was arriving with some say with the courier on when, as we both work! Unfortunately when it arrived the courier didnt seem to care that the box was damaged! The instructions were okay and the build seems okay apart from the bed slats which the strength concerns me, we looked at the Wowcher site and the mattress shed and there was no information to say the maximum weight for each side is 85KG which is not really strong enough for us both but what can we do now after we have bought it and put it up, that information should have been on the site not in the instructions to find. We have put a complaint in and it has been opened up three times but we have had no reply.

I am sorry that you were not overall happy with the delivery service. We do send out an initial email to notify you of shipping and how to track your order. From the tracking it is then up to the customer to monitor it. If the original delivery date is not suitable then there are contact details on the tracking for your local depot to rearrange delivery.
As for the box being damaged I would like to apologise for this. In our shipping email that we send before orders are dispatched we do state to sign goods as damaged if for any reason the boxes arrive in any way damaged. This then covers you for anything that has been affected inside the box however most of the time the packaging protects the contents. If for any reason any parts have been damaged please let us know by contacting helpdesk@mattressshed.co.uk.
I am unsure as to where you have been told that the weight restriction is 85kg per side? As this is indeed false information.
The correct weight restriction which I believe one of our staff informed you of last week is 18 stone per side, meaning 230Kg in total.

Bed is great- delivery was unacceptable
The bed is all good, comfortable & easy enough to put together. Getting the bed however was altogether much more stressful. We received an email advising we would get a call to book in a 3 hr slot for delivery- this never happened. We both work so when the delivery turned up we were not home. Instead of leaving a calling card or arranging another delivery time, the driver left my new bed outside on the doorstep- which is in the middle of the street. Completely unacceptable! We therefore haven't signed for the delivery or checked if there were damages etc (thankfully there weren't) when my elderly mother in law passed the property she realised what had happened & brought the delivery inside on her own. Despite being in her 70s and one of the boxes weighing 34kg and stating that it needed to be lifted by 2 people. This should have never happened! My bed could have been stolen. Disgraceful customer service from the courier company.

As we use third party couriers to carry out our deliveries I cannot comment on this too much however am shocked to hear that one of their drivers have been rude to a customer.
We use one of the largest UK national carriers to do so.
If you would like to put a complaint with regards to exactly what happened into writing and send it to helpdesk@mattressshed.co.uk along with your order number we will take this up with our courier as a poor service from our courier reflects badly on ourselves.

Double ottoman bed frame
Bed came within the delivery time, have only now managed to get somebody to put it together for me, both of the Pistons not working!!

Hi there,
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the pistons.
The moving parts of the Ottoman bed are very stiff to begin with, and do require some force.
It time this will ease up. To release your pistons, please ensure the mattress is on the frame as the weight of the mattress is required. Then try to lift slightly before pushing down. Try a couple of times then push down with force.
99% of the time this will release the pistons as they are designed to be very stiff to begin with so over time they still withhold the weight of the mattress.
However if this doesn't solve the issue please send us an email to helpdesk@mattressshed.co.uk stating you have tried this etc and still had no luck, however I am sure they will release.

Single storage bed
Great value - good sturdy bed, good value and easy to follow instructions, for those that can't do flat pack. It is a good full size single bed and the storage space is so good I was amazed at how much would fit in. I would certainly recommend this product.

I have never used Mattress Shed before but glad I did. The mattress is very well made and of top quality. It came rolled up in thick protective wrapping and rolled out completely flat once opened.

Excellent product but delivery a bit of a problem.
I ordered a single otterman storage bed via woucher. Ordered from the Matress Shed and waited for delivery which after a phone call was told it would be early the following week. Then the day after my phone call on Thursday morning I get an email stating the bed would be delivered that afternoon. Had to have afternoon off as no one was home.
Apart from that everything else is fine and I am more than happy with the bed.
