Couldn't praise Dave highly enough. Worked wonders in restoring confidence and brought enjoyment back to maths for my lad. We're awaiting A Level results right now, but consider ourselves fortunate that we found Dave, and that he managed to fit him in. Thankyou very much, wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone 👍

Dave is an incredibly knowledgeable and patient maths tutor who has really helped our daughter progress in maths. He has always tailored the tutoring sessions to suit our daughter’s learning style and pace and his approach is both motivating and encouraging, which has helped build her confidence significantly.

Dave tutored my daughter for her Maths GCSE. My daughter is neurodivergent and found it really hard to concentrate in the classroom at school and the teaching environment at school didn't suit her. Dave was recommended to me by a friend and so I asked him to give her Maths tuition once a week. Honestly, he has made such a difference to my daughter's understanding of the subject and the way that he delivers it is so clear. We were initially unsure how it would work with the lessons being online, but he sits calmly next to a white board and writes and explains how the maths works as well as sourcing past exam papers and going through these. My daughter needs time to process information and Dave is patient and kind and teaches at the student's pace. If my daughter didn't understand something, Dave would explain it in another way, or he would adapt his teaching to the technique that my daughter was using, which had been taught at school. I cannot praise Dave's teaching enough. If you are in any doubt about asking him to tutor your child - just do it! But be quick because he gets very full :-) (OK, my daughter has just read this and told me to clarify that his schedule gets very full, not him himself :-))

Extremely professional maths tutoring service. Worked really well with our 16 year old to help him prepare for his GCSEs, we would highly recommend.

David's support has made a huge difference to our daughters' confidence and success in maths. We first met David when our eldest daughter was struggling at the start of her GCSE course and we saw how his encouragement and support transformed her confidence in maths. We therefore had no hesitation in getting in touch with David again to provide similar support to our youngest daughter who has just taken her GCSE Maths. Her maths was the only one she wasn't stressing about! Thank you David :-)

Dave is a fantastic maths tutor who was able to build a good rapport with my daughter who was in Y11 and had not had any maths taught in put for a while. He quickly established her strengths, I saw her gain in confidence and regained her enjoyment of maths. His lessons were tailored to meet her needs and identifying the areas she needed more practice in. The joint problem solving was a great technique and the positive feedback was always helpful. I would highly recommend Dave for maths tuition.

David is an excellent teacher. He has a relaxed and positive approach to teaching, a style which allowed our daughter to focus and learn in a constructive way even online. We would highly recommend.

Dave helped my daughter with her GCSE maths during 2020 going into 2021. My daughter always looked forward to her weekly sessions - mainly virtual (which worked really well). Sessions were engaging, well-structured and delivered enthusiastically. My daughter is a much more confident mathematician as a result of maths tutoring from Dave. I would not hesitate to highly recommend.

Dave has tutored our daughter online since the beginning of Covid and I can honestly say that considering the amount of home learning completed, our year 11 daughter’s confidence in maths has grown enormously in that time and largely thanks to Dave. The way Dave explains things to her at a pace that she is comfortable with has benefitted her greatly, which no doubt enabled her to achieve a grade 7 in her mocks. She has just completed her assessment exams for her final grade and we have every confidence she’ll be happy with her results. We’ve been so happy with Dave’s tutoring that he’s about to start tutoring our youngest daughter to prepare her for her GCSE’s in two years time.

Dave taught our daughter who is in year 11 preparing for her gcse's. We have seen a massive improvement in her confidence and abilities around all areas of maths and she spoke very highly of Dave. She found him to be easy to talk to and explain subjects at a level she really understood. We would highly recommend Dave for maths tutoring and feel confident he has helped our daughter to achieve the grades she deserves.

Really appreciated Dave’s skill and patience in supporting our son through his GCSE Maths. He was able to tailor his support so that they covered the areas that were more challenging, give him lots of opportunities to practice exam questions and build his confidence do that he felt able to tackle all areas.

This was my feedback to the tutor after my sons GCSE results 2018-
I just wanted to say a big thank you for the time that you invested in my son in the run up to his GCSE exams. I am pleased to let you know that he achieved a grade 5 and so passed ! Not only did you give him different strategies to that which his school had taught him you gave him something that they had overlooked and that was confidence and self belief. I am in no doubt that it is this that made the difference and got the pass that he needed.

Outstanding and exceeds expectations - my son's tutor is experienced, patient and 100% reliable and not only has his mathematical potential been unlocked, his confidence has soared. My son struggled at AS level due to the fast pace lessons moved at in Sixth Form, but now, with weekly support from his maths tutor, he is excelling. My only regret is that we didn't contact Maths Tutor Nottingham sooner, in year 12.

I have just passed my QTS Numeracy test first time which I wouldn't have been able to achieve without the the help from Dave Wooldridge. I am not the brightest at Maths, so it was great to have someone that made you feel at ease and flexible with tuition dates. I would recommend Dave to anyone that seeks Maths tuition as I honestly could not of had a better tutor who gave me the confidence that I needed.

Managed to get a lad not best at learning through his maths GCSE a year early. Clear, calm and concise. Only minus is he's not keen on dogs.....
