Really wished I read these reviews. Guaranteed 2-4 day shipping is a joke, you will be lucky to get it in 2-4 WEEKS. There is no free knife sharpener as advertised. And you more than likely won't get everything you ordered. And you will pay to ship it back.

Well what a shit show this company turned out to be. I live in UK. Ordered two large titanium chopping boards which cost £59 each. The website showed prices in GPB and it was not visible on the website where this company were based but they were highlighting 2-3 day delivery. Finally received them 2 weeks later. They were paper thin. Definitely not what is shown on their website. They were wrapped in substandard bubble wrap and had been dropped so one of them had a crumpled corner. When I peeled off the blue protective film both boards were already scratched and on using one of them found they scratch very very easily. Emailed them to discuss return and refund and after a lot of emails was finally told that if I wanted a full refund I would have to return them, tracked, to USA at my own cost. I went to the post office today and it pains me to say it cost £54 to send them back. I questioned the false advertising and dodgy website but they were not interested. To say I am a little ****** off would be an understatement 🤬

Update- the return is sitting in customs as the company have refused to pay the duties. I have no words

I ordered a knife for $150. The day after I orderd it I received an email saying the package was returned to sender due to a Japanese holiday. I reached out to them to be told they were going to expedite my shipment immediately. Never heard anything else. I have emailed multiple times and still no response and no knive. This was for my son for his birthday which is today. I now do not have a gift for him nor can I afford to buy him anyyhing else since im out the money I paid for the knife. I am currently disputing this with my bank but that takes time and there is no guarantee I will get my money back. I cant believe this company can continue to get away with stealing people's money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I wish I had looked at Trustpilot BEFORE I brought from this company ( usually do). Luckily only ordered a small knife ( not yet received as yet but they did not ask for any proof of age which is UK law and I had thought odd at the time ) I also got a 'free knife sharpener' which I have just received and probably postage was more expensive than the actual sharpener - cheap plastic one which does not actually work !! I am not holding out much hope for the knife after the terrible reviews this company has and if it is as poor quality as the ' freebie ' then I will have to ask for a refund . Currently would NOT recommend buying anything from this company.

One star only because I can't put zero. Paid $119 for one chef's knife (so dumb in retrospect) and a "free" knife sharpener. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift ordered well in advance. Sharpener arrived timely, but knife shipped from China and arrived on Christmas Day AFTER we'd opened presents. Box read Allwin Houseware. The knife itself had no weight to it, had discolorations on it, and was cheaply made. I emailed the company and they promised a refund 2-5 business days after the return was received. I spent my own money to return, they confirmed receipt of the merchandise. 15 business days later and still no refund.

Please please please , don’t purchase from this company.
The knives are cheap Chinese copies , sold as Japanese artisan knives. They also make it nearly impossible to return them . As the return address is a pack n ship shop in Florida. ( I’m in the uk ).
And they were sold as Uk supplied.
I’m currently using pay pal to get my money back.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll use the bank and action fraud.

I ordered a set for $149 plus Free gift…Guaranteed 2-4 days Expedited Shipping and never received anything nor could I get in touch with them…tried email but nothing worked…there is NO phone number either…total SCAM!! Disputing charges now…please by all means DON’T order from this site!!

I received my order and it actually is “OK”…don’t like how they sent it but I did receive them (Knife Set)…I’ll be keeping them since…If you Purchased these (say at grocery store) they would be just as much (Money) individually…so…long story short…worth the money and I have them 😊

If I could give it −10 stars I would. We ordered an expensive knife for a Christmas gift and they said it was delivered 2 different times and then said it was canceled. They won't respond back to any of my emails. Total scam.

I ordered the "Titanium" cutting boards from Masuta Kitchen thinking that THEIR 100% Titanium cutting boards at $59 & $69 each would be legit and would hopefully come packaged for gift giving. NEITHER was true. They came in bubble wrapping with a small sticker on the outside saying Stainless Steel! There was no "Masuta" company name, no thank you for your order, or ANYTHING else at all except - Manufacturer; Shantou Levveiyi electronic commerce co., ltd! AND the board had no markings on it so it could be the same as a Walmart board! I will be returning them and HOPING for my money back!

You don’t get what you actually pay for , and I didn’t get what was pictured on the website .
Instead I received a cheap flimsy product that looks different and was sent in minimal packing so it arrived dented .
Definitely not a premium product

100% I got in fraud in this site they use my bank details I just reported to my bank now waiting for dispute I don’t know how they got my details also reported to action Fraud the scammers using this company to purchase their goods probably they know each other.

After waiting for a whole month (instead of 5 days as mentioned on company website) to get the knife set I ordered worth $300 , one of the knives arrived in poor condition , the handle was broken. And the free mystery knife which they say worth $140 is a joke, I can get a much better one at Walmart for $6

Ordered what was described as an 8 piece Japanese Chef knife set that normally retails for $399. What I received was the Chinese MDHand knife set that retails daily at Walmart for less than $55

Very poor customer service.

I ordered a magnetic knife holder. The assembly was to screw the base onto the bottom of the upright wood block. It was impossible to screw the two screws all the way in. The heads of the screws started getting stripped with the force of trying to screw them in. The result was that the block holding the knives wiggled back and forth. I made multiple contacts with Matsuta asking that they send me an assembled unit, and that I would send back the disassembled one. First, they willfully misunderstood what I was saying, telling me I had to screw in the screws (DUH). Then they wanted me to take a video of the problem. I've decided to contact a friend who does carpentry to fix the unit. Never buy anything from these people. If there is a problem they will not make it right.

Waited 2 months for knives to arrive, not even the ones we ordered, quality of knives are shit, only good thing about them is the pouch they came in

Order almost a month ago! No update on shipping and next to none communication!
I’ve sent so many emails only to be told it’s been shipped. But where is it? I paid $500 and they can’t even answer my questions. DO NOT BUY!
I have reported them as a scam and to my bank.

Scam site - they sell $200 knives that are "japanese hand craved" but when they arrived it was clearly labelled from a china factory with their address. It's all fake. I've emailed 10 times trying to get a refund as they have a 30 day money back but they just never responded. Going through credit card to report as scam. Don't fall for this

I bought a set of knife at matsutakitchen.com then when it arrived, the knives says MDHAND which is a chinese brand from Amazon which is 10x cheaper to what i had bought it. Beware It's a scam company, don't let it scammed you as well.
