I've been producing and mixing music for over 10 years and found this website to be so informative and full of helpful information. It helped me sort out a lot of what I struggle with as a mix engineer and keep my focus on the end goal of creating a great mix.

I have been a member of Mastering.com's Reverse Engineer program for approximately one year. The quality of information is great, and help/feedback is always available. I especially appreciate that the program is done at my own pace, allowing me to study around my schedule. I highly recommend this program for those wanting to learn Mixing/Mastering.

Sync 101 course at first but after experiencing the level of teaching and mentoring, I was sold on the TRE The Reverse Engineering course. Can’t say enough about how good it is

If you ever hope to mix or master any music successfully, you need to be able to hear properly. Most of us don't realize how each of our rooms have a different frequency response in different areas, and we are left wondering why our mixes don't sound good anywhere else but in our room! When I learned that the first thing that happens after you join this course is they work with you to fix your room, I joined right away! This was the first missing piece to achieving radio-ready music, and they helped me to get my room to the standards that were needed in frequency response, impulse response, and decay times. I love how my room sounds!

The program lessons start with mastering first before moving into mixing and production. The Mastering.com team does a great job of explaining what you need to learn and why, and they show you how to go about doing what needs to be done. There are lots of opportunities to ask questions to the mentors at various times as well as in the group forum. The people are so amazing and supportive of each other. It really is a great community!

I feel this course is more valuable to people who have at least a basic understanding of recording and mixing music, and using music software designed for that. This course will take your knowledge and understanding to the next level!

Joining this course and community was the best decision I have made to improve my room acoustics, hearing, knowledge, and skills. I am so happy to be learning and making real improvements!

I attended a workshop and was blown away by their philosophy. I wasn't necessarily taught HOW to do things, but rather WHY to do them. Just two days was enough to improve my approach, outlook, and optimism about making great music and I didn't think twice about signing up for their online school. I'm certain they'll get me to where the past decade of experience hasn't.

Working in this program has already been a journey that's been the most helpful experience. Even after self teaching myself for almost 2 decades of music production, I have learned more about the craft of writing and recording music in the first few weeks than I have after years of trying to figure things out myself. The mentor calls are extremely helpful and motivating, and always there whenever I may need them. No time limit helps as there's no pressure to hurry, this is definitely the perfect fit to get legitimate education, but do it by distance.

I have attended numerous fix the mixes and am currently doing the TRE course. These guys are not just professional, they are also powered by a student centred mindset and an approach to the music industry which is unique.

Within just 6 weeks participating in the Mastering Intensive program I approved several of my skills including, hearing compression, understanding frequencies, less is often more, what impact saturation has and much more. I never learned within such a short amount of time so many things not only for improving my masters, but also how it relates to mixing and music production.
