I have used Masons Walling on 3 occasions over a 3 year period to transform the dry stone wall boundaries of my garden from the poor state they were in to the now high quality boundaries of beauty.

Tim is an absolute pleasure to work with, discusses the work as he goes and raises any points for discussion and suggests simplifications or improvements.

On Tim's first visit he repaired a collapse, a bulge and built a brand new curved retaining wall that is now a key feature of the garden.

On Tim's second visit, he completely rebuilt a whole corner section that had collapsed and been infilled with loose bricks.

On Tim's most recent visit he has rebuilt a section of wall removing 2 huge tree stumps along the way.

The finished walls are not only well built boundaries but an attractive feature of the garden. They genuinely are a thing of beauty, well built with skill and attention to detail. Tim and his various assistants are great company and are tidy workers taking pride in their work and leaving the work site tidy.

I look forward to working with Tim again in the future and would highly recommend him.

Tim and his team have done a fantastic job transforming a treacherous slope in our garden into a beautiful terrace using pink granite that has actually become a focal point in itself. Tim took the time to listen to our needs and work on the design with us inputting several brilliant suggestions to help create something better than we could have imagined. Tim and his team were punctual, polite and tidy and a pleasure to work with. We are actually going to miss having them around. I can highly recommend masons walling and it would be a pleasure to use his services again in the future.

Tim was a really professional and enjoyable person to work with. He took our interest in understanding and planning the wall design and load bearing/ retaining wall properties seriously and blended this with his considerable experience and advice. Our collapsed 2m+ high retaining wall was rebuilt in quick order over the course of a few weeks by him and his hard working team and he also personally oversaw and constructed every aspect of it, whilst training/ developing people who were coming to learn from him and work with him which was impressive. I feel that although dry stone walling is an expensive process we also got good value and the end result looks fantastic.

Would definitely recommend these guys, extremely professional and did a great job. Tim certainly knows his stuff ! One of the best companies that have done work for me without question.

Every aspect of our project (replacement of deteriorated mortar limestone stone wall with a drystone wall) was a joy. Tim's communication and reliability was exemplary, and he is such a lovely chap to work with. Costs were as quoted and very reasonable (less than alternative solutions such as bricks). The end result was stunning - practical and beautiful. We are already planning to ask Tim to build us another!

Great fun and a great insight into how a dry stone wall should be built.
