I think I've also been scammed by this company. It's not the real Mary Boutique in London. The quality is poor, and the postage takes ages to arrive.
Update I raised a PayPal dispute of £123 and a Tesco card dispute of £146. PayPal advised I return the goods costing £48 to Hong Kong meanwhile Mary boutique emailed me offering to knock 20% I refused. The return address is invalid and they came back. Now I'm £350 out of pocket. PayPal did refund me but the Tesco card refused. I'm out of pocket by £200 the clothes are not worth £50 🤬

Absolutely awful, cheap material and badly made. I feel like an idiot buying from their website thinking I got a deal!

Terrible company. Falsely advertises as a small uk based boutique but is in fact a Chinese company. The items take a long time to arrive and are poor quality. Return policy is ridiculous too! Costs most to return than the original item price. They make you take photos of the items and send them before returning to ensure labels are still attached, yet they send the items without labels on them! Fast fashion under the guise of small business. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Unfortunately I ordered a a pair of shoes. Delivery took 14 days and when received them I was shocked, it was nothing like the product advertised, cheap plastic from China. I wish I had checked out the comments on Trustpilot first!!!

It would have saved me £35.
Now Im stuck with poor quality shoes that im better off giving to charity.

The brand initially appeared to be a London-based boutique, but the reality was quite different. The lengthy shipping time from China was an early indication, and unfortunately, the items confirmed my concerns — they are of very poor quality, had a distinctive smell of poor fabric.
The products I received are significantly below the standards one would expect, especially at the price point — even after a substantial discount. In fact, the quality is worse than fast-fashion platforms like Temu or Shein, yet the pricing & advertising suggests otherwise.

I am frustrated to learn that I am responsible for the return postage, especially as the returns are to be sent outside the UK !
Overall, I have been misled by the branding and presentation. The name and imagery suggest a UK-based, boutique-quality experience, which this is clearly not.

Very poor quality! Don't buy it! Looks like my dress is from China, like like from shein. Can't contact them now. Email not exist.

This company go under a few names on Facebook . DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AT ANY COST. Scammers poor quality clothes for high prices. Will offer ridiculously low refunds for you not to return. Return address is no in UK so high shipping cost.

The company is a Scam! They advertise themselves as London Boutique but are in fact based in China and the company name was dissolved in the UK in 2024. I ordered a top and it was nothing like advertised and cheap material. I have since found the same top on Temu for almost a tenth of the price!! AVOID!! They wont refund me unless I pay postage costs to send it back to China. Awful company.

Avoid. This is a scam. The first time I was caught. I usually can identify scams, but this time I regret I didn't check reviews. There are few red flags on the website itself. Like not opening payment methods in the footer or not trustful domain .uk instead of .co.uk . I ordered several products, and not one looked like the picture. So different and such a poor quality. The market themselves as UK based business. There is nothing to do with the UK. Made and shipped from China. As return cost could be high, I accepted 40% refund. Be careful, check the websites multiple times and ask someone to validate!

Scam! This “company” operates under many different names. They are not UK based, the clothes are of poor quality: cheap material, sizing all wrong, no labels and shipped from China. I worry about how the clothes are actually made.
Returns are at your own expense, you will be given the run around until you give up pursuing. I have had to seek a refund through my credit card. Do your due diligence and do not fall for all the false advertising. There is no UK owner and she is not retiring. Scam!

This company is spamming people Advertising and an original prices suggest that is good quality business based in UK. In reality it's Chinese, most lower quality clothes than I ever seen . I don't buy usually clothes from websites that I don't know well but after seeing their advert and £99 original price, naively I thought it's good brand. Ordered dress ,paid £25 . When it arrived, I am in absolutely shock of quality. Material feels like shower plastic curtain ,no breathable at all . Looks so bad and cheap ,no way worth £25 ,amd far away form an original price of £99. Stop spamming people. Amd now can't return as it will apparently cost more than I paid for dress. Yes,my fault not reading return terms in first place but never came across such a bad company.

Unfortunately I ordered a shirt which when received was very shocked as it was nothing like the product advertised . I wish I had checked out the comments on Trustpilot first - it would have saved me money . Either I pay for it to be returned, risk it being lost or having to pay extra tax etc etc or accept their paltry 10% refund offer etc etc . One learns !

I've ordered 2 dresses online and unfortunately I had to cancel my order. Order has been cancelled same day and I have received a full refund in 2 working days.

Return costs 15-30 pounds for single dress. Avoid.

Another operator pretending to be UK based and isn't! The dresses even arrived with holes where the stitching didn't take. Credit card co informed. Showing all the makings of another Luxe and Luna is a scam. Avoid!

It’s a scam, these goods are not a genuine shop closing down in London!

Do not order from this site!! It's a scam site! This used to be "Brown Wardrobe" supposedly a London-based brand run by John and Mary Brown. The items I purchased were poorly made, ill-fitting and sent from China! When I asked for a refund, I was told I'd have to pay a hefty fee of £30 to return the item. They since shut the website down and are now posing as this new "London-based" company, Mary Boutique. I know this because links from my original emails now go through to this site! Do not buy from them, total scam! You'll be left with unusable items that you cannot return.

Avoid at all costs. This company pretends to be a UK company but is based in Asia and the returns information changes daily. When I ordered the item it stated items will be returned to the UK. They have now changed this to Hong Kong at the buyer’s expense. The item is poorly made and npt as described.

I have reported the company.

So many 5* comments posted on the same day! All 5* comments mention the company name. When I write a review, there is no need to use the name. I'm calling this company out on fake reviews .. apart from the 1* ones. Shame on you.

Reasons for avoiding at all costs!
- They ship poor quality clothing from china.
- Return costs paid by the buyer to China, check the small print on their website.
- Dress quality is absolutely awful, different colours, terrible fit (sizing completely out), no tags or labels, poor stitching
- Dresses delivered in plastic bags like Shein with dresses completely creased due to material so unwearable
- One dress had pen mark on it.
- Customer services is terrible, just a vast amount of emails trying to offer you 10% refunds, replacements etc.
I am now returning to china and hoping to get a refund but not convinced given my conversations with customer services.
Posting to warn consumers as the website indicates it’s a small boutique in London closing down. Google them and you will see the feedback.
