Customers are not allowed to speak
Subpar bus company not allowing customers to speak on their phone while on a busride customers paid for. I'm not talking about passengers being obnoxiously noisy and disturbing other passengers. No, You're apparently not "permitted" to use your inside voice when you're conversing on the phone. You're not even "allowed" to speak to your friends and family sitting right next to you in a hushed whisper without being told to be quiet. It's bad enough people are being silenced left and right nowadays. Now grown adults are not even allowed to answer a phone call? What if someone died? What if it's your boss calling about an emergency? What if it's the doctors office giving you a call back? Trailways doesn't care, you are immediately silenced. And if you say anything about their ridiculous rule, you're kicked off with no chance of a refund. Sounds pretty unconstitutional to me. If the drivers can't tolerate some mild chatter, how on earth can they tolerate the noise of other cars honking on the road or the sound of heavy rain? It's ridiculously unrealistic. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, since this company thinks they are operating in communist china and violates an individual's right to verbal communication.
