Just bought a Martin 000-10e to play as…

Just bought a Martin 000-10e to play as an acoustic. Disappointed though as the action was far too high and strings too thick for acoustic finger style playing. It’s a shame they can’t make a similar priced and size guitar purely for finger style.

I bought a 800+ Martin guitar from…

I bought a 800+ Martin guitar from guitar center it was very beautiful and sounded great, took it home in a climate control and even have a guitar room with a dehumidifier. And about a month later I noticed tiny little holes in the guitar. So I did some research and found it was “pinholing” called Martin sent pictures in to the to be analyzed and it was confirmed “pinhole” all over the back and front of the body. They have not returned any of my calls since telling me it was a quality problem and it happens. They won’t stand behind the quality or their mistakes. Told me to send it to them and in month they’ll return it “repaired” very disappointed very bad customer service very bad quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I love my Martin D-18!

I love my Martin D-18. It was a gift from my wife and it's so hard playing anything else. It sounds amazing!

Bought Martin HD-28 at Guitar Center…

Bought Martin HD-28 at Guitar Center around 2015. Didn't realize that there was a good amount of fret buzz around fret 1 and 2, on high E and B strings. Immediately took back to Guitar Center, and they traded a different HD-28. I need to add that the HD-28 I was originally sold had a neck that was bowed so bad that there was no way it could be adjusted, so Guitar Center sent me to a different store to trade for another HD-28. So either Guitar Center knew full and well that they sold me a damaged, defective guitar, or the sales people are incompetent. Incompetent at least until the return date passes, then they seem to be able to point out any defect in a guitar. Do they not inspect any brand new high end guitar received from a factory? This is also on Martin because the built the guitar, and shipped with a bowed neck. Terrible. Never liked how this guitar played, or sounded. Recently took back to Guitar Center to sell, and they told me glue around both sides of body coming apart. Guitar kept in case, and in temperature/humidity controlled room. I also have a Martin D-35 which is exhibiting the same problem. I have a way less expensive Alvarez that's out in air on a stand, and this hasn't happened to it. In fact, the much cheaper Alvarez sounds better than HD-28 or the D-35 It's also funny how Guitar Center notices these defects when you try to sell to them, but not when they sell a defective poorly made guitar to you. Do not buy a Martin. You're only paying for a name. Maybe great once, but not anymore. And definitely DO NOT buy from a big box store like Guitar Center. They obviously only care about their bottom line, and not the customer.

Martin guitar 000C12-16EN

000C12-16EN, 18 months old Intonation got really bad. Sent the guitar back to Martin twice for that problem. Martin won't even acknowledge the issue that I've complained about the guitar. Thats their way of dodging the bullet. I will never buy from Martin again.

Loving my new Martin SC-13E

I went to a local Guitar Center planning on buying a Taylor, but went home with a Martin SC-13E. I played and compared both guitars, with and without a amp and for me, the Martin played better, chorded easier, sounded better and was roughly $400 cheaper. Another thing that I was impressed with was the neck. It feels more like I’m playing a electric guitar, which I like a lot. I wasn’t to sure about the volume and tone controls along with a tuner being located inside the sound hole, but now that I’m used to it, I think it’s great. I must say, the SC-13E is not your typical “traditional” Martin guitar and it’s probably not for everyone, but it sure works for me!
Good job Martin!

Best sounding guitar!

Best sounding guitar by far in my opinion! It has a classical and simple look, which is the most outstanding of all. Expensive but worth it.
