The engineer appointed to repair the Samsung Washing Machine

The engineer Lewis appointed to repair the washing machine was excellent, he had to return and didn’t give up untyhe found the fault, he was not but courteous, friendly and most importantly explained everything he was doing to me.

Dont waste your time

My Samsung 77s93d died after 6 months, no standby light, nothing. Under warranty so Samsung arranged for Martin Dawes to repair. The two clowns who collected the TV packed it into a box outside in the rain! TV was returned but still had power issues. It has now been returned, apparently they found no further issues, however have managed to add 2 scratches to the back of the TV! Dont deal with these idiots!

Bought a samsung tv last july which has unfortunately had to be repaired twice, a different fault on each occasion.
Both faults sorted by martin dawes, and i thought they were brill. Great communication from them, the lads that collected and returned the tv were spot on, very polite and helpful. All in all martin dawes took a lot of the sting out of a very annoying situation with their quality of service. Thank you.

The engineer, Jack, was pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the issue, and ensured I ended up with a functioning oven. Very pleased.

Communication was very good and despite a faulty replacement part on the first appointment, my washing machine has been fixed today , just a couple of days later . Lewis was a very polite young man and nothing too much trouble . He worked tidily and within the timescale he set . He is a credit to the company and hope that he is rewarded accordingly.

Samsung QDOLED TV collected for…

Samsung QDOLED TV collected for warranty repair with vertical banding / dirty screen effect recognised as fault by both Samsung and retailer agents. MD - Doncaster refuses to fix it because "..do not show any faults with the TV under normal watching conditions as set by the manufacturer", when I ask for the "conditions" I get the same response "we see no fault".

I’ve had multiple repairs to my machine which at times I’ve been unhappy about but Lewis was so understanding and explained the reasons how the company worked in relation to repairs and replacements which I found very helpful.

Just wanted to thank Lewis who came to fix our washing machine. Really prompt, polite and friendly. Did a great job, explaining everything as he went along, cleared up and took all the rubbish away with him. Would totally recommend. Thank you

Made an appointment for them to come out to repair my washing machine via Samsung's website. No one turned up, no apology or notification they were not coming, they sent me a text message at 9.07 today - 22.01.2026 advising they had tried to contact me but had been unable to so call the Samsung number quoting a reference if I still needed assistance. I called the number and advised Samsung about what had happened, the call handler was unable to understand me well he spoke broken English so the telephone call was not easy. I explained I still needed the repair because my daughter has complex needs requiring 24 hour care due to a metabolic disorder and therefore we are heavily reliant on the washing machine. The call handler went off the telephone and left me listening to music for ages so I decided to call Martin Dawes directly. I spoke to their call handler and she was very dismissive of my circumstances, she just listed the attempts they had made to contact me, I explained I had no missed calls on my phone, however I had received a text message, I explained I had however been unable to call sooner than today because my father suffered 2 heart attacks on Boxing day and between visiting him daily and caring for my daughter, my life had been busy and yes we still wanted the repair, she stated the washer was out of warranty, I advised I was completely aware and I would be paying for the repair, she continued to be very offhand so I advised I was not accepting her rude attitude and ended the call.
Samsung you need to get a grip of your nominated approved contractor, they need customer service training!!

Don't use this embarrassment of a company

Panasonic Midi System bought for £550 of Amazon. 3 months in and it keeps losing WiFi signal. Rung Panasonic who said they use Martin Dawes for repairs under warranty. I also had this manufacturing defect where the inner side of the display had smears on it. They will sort that out for you too as part of the repair said the representative from Panasonic.
Martin Dawes collected my unit which I had placed in two separate boxes. One with the unit and the other with the speakers, plug and remote. Both boxes were bubble wrapped with cardboard spacers to keep the units from getting scratched during transit.
The fault was a network module issue and replaced. They phone me to arrange delivery and whilst on the phone I ask to make sure they also got rid of the smears on the inside the display. Give me 2 minutes and I'll go ask the engineer says the woman I'm communicating with. Yep it's all been done she says I've just spoken to the engineer. Brilliant thank you and looking forward to having my system back I reply.
So, it comes back scratched. Not just a mark here and there but quite a few all over the unit. Then I notice the smear on the display is also still there. You're joking right? So I phone them back up and in a calm manner I ask the same woman why is my unit scratched and why hasn't the smear been cleaned? Oh we're so sorry she says. Please send me some pictures of the problems and I'll get this investigated for you...
That's the last I've heard from them since November 25th and judging by the other frustrated reviews I've been reading, it's highly unlikely I'm going to hear back from them.
If Martin Dawes are stupid enough to leave a follow up with the old please get in contact, or drop them an email through resolutions cut and paste response, then it clearly shows how dysfunctional this company is and how little customer support and after service they really provide.
Don't buy Panasonic products because any repairs under warranty will unfortunately end up at Chuckle-Vision headquarters and it's simply not worth the anxiety, upset and disappointment that Martin Dawes achieves quite well by all accounts.

Very helpful and professional staff. My TV wasn't turning on and they guided me for free how to get it to work again. Finally fixed my issue. I even offered to pay for the help but they said no. Really good experience. Would recommend!

Booked my Samsung tv for repair as it was turning itself off ,was away for a week they put in a new screen even though for me the problem is the ocb, tv came back still turning itself off so problem not fixed, and also now showing a iot module fault now saying they will pick it up in another week ,there’s no way that this TV was tested after the fault was supposedly fixed the engineer should fully test before passing it maybe they need retraining and it’s just been returned to me ,so I have reported it to Samsung as this is not good enough so unimpressed !!!tv has gone back for repair and being told they have ordered another screen unbelievable !!!screen fitted and a motherboard in the actual tv and returned and still it has the same problems has the one connect box apparently has not been touched what an absolute joke of a company!
