I ordered several types and varieties of seeds from Martha’s Garden, along with seeds from a number of other suppliers, and the difference was striking. As an independently owned seed farm, Martha’s Garden clearly takes exceptional care in every aspect of what they do. The germination rate of her seeds was outstanding, consistently surpassing those from other sources I tested side by side.
The seedlings developed beautifully: strong, vigorous, and remarkably resilient, showing little to no transplant shock compared to the others I planted. This level of quality speaks to careful selection, handling, and a deep commitment to excellence that is not always found in larger, commercial operations.
She offers a thoughtfully curated selection of unique and interesting flower and vegetable varieties. I was especially excited to see seeds from Wild Boars Farm, which is highly regarded for producing distinctive, colorful, and flavorful heirloom-cross tomato varieties—yet another example of the care she puts into sourcing exceptional genetics . This will be my go to for future growing .

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Martha’s Garden Seeds. The ordering process is easy, shipping is quick and the seeds arrive well packaged. I especially love the unique selection of Canadian-grown veggies, flowers and fruit that actually thrive in our conditions. I mostly plant in containers and there is a large selection to choose from. Happy to support a local seed company and I’ll be ordering again!
