A nicely packed bare root tree that arrived in great condition. After rehydrating the roots I planted it in my allotment and for a while I was worried, what with all the rain we had, but then the buds emerged and so did blooms. I'll follow the mantra of removing any fruit in its first year to concentrate energy on establishing a good root system, but over the coming years look forward to Bramley apples for pies and crumbles. Hmmm...crumbles.
