Having used Skinny Bakery years ago I decided to give it another try particularly as there are now low carb versions for my Mum who has diabetes.
I found the Raspberry and Coconut pearls a little dry but the Lemon pearls were delicious. The others I have frozen, the low carb versions will be for Mum for her birthday. I will review again after she has tried them.
I always found the pearls a lovely treat and low calorie cake, what’s not to like.

The chocolate ones were really yummy but although the peanut butter ones were nice they didn't actually taste of peanut butter.
I haven't yet made either of the kits.

Great cakes for when you want portion control and less sugar but still want something sweet. So far my favourite is the lemon drizzle and Victoria sponge.

Oh my, these are absolutely scrummy!!! The black forest ones I have tried so far are just what I crave with my cup of tea as I have stopped biscuits. Will be ordering more!!!!

These little cakes are delightful and very filling even though they are small. Flavours are lovely and as they can be frozen I will definitely purchase again.

Absolutely delightful little cakes that are rich and filling. Great for us slimmers who want to be able to enjoy a treat or two without the guilt! And these really do hit the spot!

Was expecting them to be bigger for the price.They are around a £1 for each cake which I think is overpriced

Delivery was prompt. The pearls are delicious. A guilty pleasure when trying to control calories. Have bought a couple of times in the past and will definitely buy again. Great product.

Can’t fault!

I was disappointed with the delivery time. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and paid £4.99 supposedly for next day delivery but they didn’t arrive until Tuesday. I ordered 6 packs of the pearls, 5 were fine but the coconut ones were mashed up, although the outer packaging was intact. However they did taste lovely and helped with my diet but can only afford them as a treat.

Excellent service, prompt response to an enquiry I had. As always, the pearls are delicious, chocolate orange and lemon drizzle are my favourites. Also tried the spreads which are lovely too. Hard to believe they are so low in calories! Great if you are trying to lose weight but still enjoy a sweet treat.

Only tried the Victoria sponge ones so far.

They were moist. The jam wasn't sickly like some. I could have easily eaten the whole pack.

After 5 days waiting on them to arrive, re useless Royal Mail but thats another story! I tasted a couple then threw the lot in the bin. Most disgusting cakes I've tasted. The doughnut was like a ball of dough in your mouth. Filling in the centre of Pearl's was minute. I would not buy again.

Love the pearls, my favourite are the Cherry Bakewell ones. Great low calorie treats, also something my daughter can enjoy too, being gluten and dairy free. Will be placing another order very soon!

Ordered a 6 pack bundle - 3 packs came damaged as no packaging in the box bar one loose bit of brown paper. 2 packs were edible but on disintegrated completely.

Offered me a £5 voucher i wouldn’t use as i would either spend less than the voucher or have to spend some of my own & also pay for postage so a crap offer. Said i could have a free pack (worth £3.99) instead if i didn’t want the voucher. Took that for the sake of something but as i had originally ordered as a gift i couldn’t give i was out of pocket. No partial refund despite 3 packs being damaged.

Sent my replacement pack in an envelope and blamed royal mail when it also arrived “damaged” and broken up. Gave them the chance to rectify things & all i got was the standard “you can have a £5 voucher line again” so they will keep your money even if you don’t get what you paid for. (Leave 3 reviews & you can get a £5 voucher so it’s nothing to them) terrible customer service and blamed royal mail despite the outer packaging being fine each time (was no warning on the envelope to handle with care) don’t waste your money!

Ended up trying some of the boxes myself as i couldn’t give them as a gift as intended and they are tiny (not unexpected) but also bland and have a very synthetic and artificial taste. Not worth the hype or the money.

Won’t order again. The customer “service” is terrible as they also take days to get back to you. Then try to say they have did all they can and tried to help when i’m a week down the line & still missing what i paid for.

Definitely not worth the money these are literally bite size for a toddler so please don't be fooled by the product images, very disappointed and Definitely won't be buying again

The cherry bakewell and chocolate pearls were delicious. The White choc and raspberry frosting was lovely. Not at all as sickly as it smelt. Will be ordering again.

I ordered some cake pearls in assorted flavours. They arrived really quickly via Royal Mail. The pearls themselves were all delicious, I can't choose a favourite flavour... maybe red velvet? They were all so good! The portions size of 5 pearls is satisfying, and the ratio of frosting/filling to cake is perfect. I will definitely be ordering from Mariella's again.
