Title: Product Not as Described – Misleading Photos, Poor Quality, Difficult Refund Process
I ordered a “knitted cardigan” from the Margaret Dublin website, but what I received was completely different from what was advertised. The photos on the website show a thick, knitted, lined cardigan. Instead, I received a thin printed polyester hoodie with cheap material, no knit texture, and none of the features shown in the product images.
The website presents itself as “Margaret Dublin,” suggesting an Irish‑based business, but when I asked for a refund, I was told to return the item to Guangdong, China at my own expense. This was never mentioned during checkout. Only after insisting on my consumer rights did they offer a small partial refund, which is not acceptable for a product that was clearly misrepresented.
Customer service responses feel scripted and repetitive. They delay the process, ask for the same information multiple times, and make it difficult to get a straightforward resolution.
This experience has been disappointing and misleading. The product I received does not match the description, the quality is extremely poor, and the refund process is unnecessarily complicated. I strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from this website.
