Extremely hurt
I went on this holiday twice, loved the dance classes and the evening entertainment. The second year the chefs did a fantastic job on the food, the party night was great the first year and loved the penthouse area so would have given it a 5 star review had it not been for the following: After receiving a foreign language email from them, which I accidentally blocked, I had to keep checking I hadn’t missed emails. The organiser told us we would receive camp information 2-3 weeks in advance. 9 days before the trip I hadn’t received the information so I asked and based on the response I was given, I made a suggestion and this was taken by the organiser as a complaint even though it was not meant as a complaint. Despite her t&c’s stating they will not give your name to a third party, my name was given to the hosts and they were lead into thinking I was complaining. I was extremely hurt by this. Subsequently I’ve been told the “retreat isn’t for me” and unfortunately was ignored this week when I asked about returning which is extremely disappointing as I would have supported it every year had I been welcome to do so because I truly enjoyed every second of the retreats I attended.
