The bus was grand but pricey compared…
The bus was grand but pricey compared to getting the train and we missed the 1st race as bus didn't arrive to Punchestown in time for it.

Park and ride for Ironman Cork
We used the park and ride service for Ironman Cork, the attitude and helpfulness from all staff from the second we drove in to when we left, and after many trips back and fourth on the bus, was faultless, Thank you

Very polite staff
Very polite staff and on the day of the rearranged race the marshalls wouldn't allow us to park and get the bus and Marathon coaches refunded me without any hassles, so can't complain.

Abandoned
Was abandoned with a few others,
the 1am bus on Friday night never arrived at Electric picnic.
considering spent 90 euro!!! on return tickets.
It ended up costing me an enormous amount of time and money to get home for work.
it had repercussions for me at work.

Hi Sean, Thank you for your review. We accept all feedback as it only helps us improve our service. Marathon Coaches do not, and historically have not run a return bus from Electric Picnic on a Friday night. Our return service commences on Saturday night. I have reviewed your booking and you have booked your return time for Saturday night at 01:00 am which was listed on your ticket.
As I can see you did not use the service on Saturday night, I have gone ahead and issued a refund for the unused return leg of your journey.
You will have gotten an email notification that reflects the refund but do note from this point it could take approximately 7-10 working days to hit your account. If you need anything else at all please do let us know.

Pleasant experience
When I arrived at the park and ride carpark, I was directed to my carparking space. I had a pre purchased ticket so again I was directed to a waiting area and my ticket was scanned. I was then shown onto the waiting bus. When I arrived in Youghal we were told that is where the return bus would pick us up. From beginning to end each member of staff were extremely professional. It made my experience of traveling to Ironman Youghal so pleasant. I would definitely recommend Marathon Coaches.
