Manav is a straight up thief and liar. He stole 25 k from me and has the audacity to tell me to f off. He deserves to be in jail like the crook he is. He and MapleBrains are nothing but a front for thievery. This isn’t a man he is a tiny little thief! Real men do not act like this little coward! Thief !!

This company is a scam!!! They take your money and never finish the project! STAY AWAY!!!!!

I found this company on Bark. They had glowing reviews which, in retrospect, turned out to be all dubious. I signed a contract with Maplebrains to develop a mobile app 2 years ago. Their promise was once the full payment was made in four monthly installments, the app would be live on Google Play and Apple stores.
Full payments were made on time. The app was not completed. I pushed, and they rushed out a crappy rendition on Google Play but it crashed. The features of the app were nothing near what we'd agreed on. I raised hell. They assigned the project to the chief technology office.

Of course, with the rebuild, the company asked for more money, even though the scope of the rebuild should have been covered under the original contractual obligations.

The rebuild was slow, but the new project lead seemed competent and trustworthy, so I gave them a leeway with time. A year ago, Maplebrains CEO, Manav Vyas, offered to handle digital marketing for the app. He promised the app would be live on both platforms within a month. I foolishly believed him and signed the marketing contract.

It has been almost a year since the marketing contract was signed. Still, no functional apps on Google Play and nothing on Apple app store.

I halted payments for the marketing. They kept coming back with excuses and false promises. In the meantime, there were additional costs for server upgrades, maintenance, and extra development costs. Since my app was pretty much held hostage by Maplebrains, I felt obligated to pay just to get it done.

I have given them the ultimatum two weeks ago. So far, it has been radio silence.

I have concluded that Maplebrains has no interest, ability, or good faith to develop my products as promised. I have secured an attorney to recoup every cent I paid them, plus interests and other financial losses. I will report them to Canada BBB, the Competition Bureau, and Canada's anti-fraud authority.

Update (9/24/24) - more false promises and missed deadlines from MapleBrains. Now they are ghosting me. Do any former clients of theirs want to start a class action suit? I am in.

This company is a scam. Their lead Manav will onboard you, take your money then disappear. He draws out the process then ghosts you. Received a useless site after almost a year of constant pressure. Please post if anyone has a link to class action. That is a good idea

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! There is no way any of the positive reviews are real. I started working with them a few years ago. They promised the world but failed to deliver on all counts. Had an excuse for EVERYTHING!! I paid them thousands of dollars and received nothing. They agreed to refund me over a year ago. I continued to follow up with them monthly but they had an excuse every time as to why the refund was held up. Now it looks like their website has disappeared. Fearful they will open up under a new business name and continue to pray on innocent people. Hoping to connect with others that have been victims of this company. Curious if a class action is possible.

Completely fraudulent company. Beware. I have paid over $12,000 towards my project which began in February 2022 and two years later still has not been completed. Once they see they can no longer spoon feed you lies and pull more money from you, Manav (the owner) goes silent. I began working with Tanya Rempe (team manager), who no longer works for the company and Joshi. I was sold a dream that I was quoted $10,000 for. Down the journey of the project they will come up with all type of hidden fees. I will be seeking legal action.

I lost 1 ENTIRE YEAR (supposed to be 3 months) and 25 000$. I received the project unfinished, I was shocked by the poor quality and nothing was working, so I decided to contact one of the best company of platform creation, to take a look at it and they clearly said that it is trash, nothing works and I have to remake the entire platform. While they were working on the platform I discussed with Manav (CEO), he was pushing the delays all the time. The released was supposed to be in November, he pushed it for December, January, February… until JULY. When I was sending him emails, he wouldn’t answer me. At the end I tried to discuss with him because I wanted my money back and he wasn’t answering until I sent him a formal notice. Another time I called him and he wasn’t answering so I decided to call him again with a different phone number and guess what? He answered it. He likes to avoid the important things to give you a bad project and take your money. The new company I work with said it would be better and more cheap if we remake the entire platform and not only try to solve all the problems, because there’s too many bugs. They are based in Canada but most employees are in India with a bad tools (mentioned by the expert company I am working with). The guy that was working in my project (Joshi) was never answering me, when we had meetings call, he was not showing up 50% of the time… How can this be a good work? In my own personal opinion and bad experience, maplebrains is a bad company that will waste your time and take all your money. Their final product is a big disgusting trash.

Unprofessional work, an additional 8-month wait, no respect for the signed contract, all for a non-functional platform resulting in 98% of the platform needing to be redone, plagued with bugs. Unprofessional and disrespectful team, poor quality work tools. Need to work with another company to start over from scratch. I recommend looking for another company.

I had the pleasure of working with Maplebrains for the development of our mobile application, and I must say they are a highly skilled and dedicated team. They maintained open communication throughout the project, and their ability to grasp our vision and turn it into a reality was simply remarkable.

I chose Maplebrains Technologies because it was the better deal. I did have some problems with my web application system and found had no joy when calling them. I should have contacted straight away Maplebrains Technologies first. The fellow was very helpful and talk me through with no problem. Thank you.

This Company is the definition of scammer!!! They charged me over $12,000 for a project that was supposed to have been completed and go live on Google Play Store & IOS. Needless to say, I got the run around for 6-8 months before I decided to go down the customer reviews rabbit hole. I am appalled, embarrassed, and most of all extremely pissed that they decided to take advantage of not only my trust but the trust of countless other people. I will be seeking Council and also reaching out to the Canadian BBB with my story and receipts…that includes everything. A class action law suit is surely warranted. I ask all new potential customers to beware.

Please go away from MapleBrains and Andre!!!! Worst, worst ever!!! A 2-month web design & development project contracted and assigned to MapleBrains back in November 2021is still not complete. Now, they are trying to strip from us more money for the same assigned contract with other tasks added which they are unable to comprehend and complete. It's a pure scam!!!!

This is the worst company I ever worked with! I spent 2 years and thousands of dollars trying to develop an app and website with them. They did such a horrible job that the entire project is useless and I lost thousands of dollars because of their incompetence!! They didn't understand my vision at all and they developed my project with old code that can't handle today's technology, essentially making the entire project useless!

We chose to work with MapleBrains for an app development project with integrated AI and have been extremely happy with the level and quality of service they provide. Their knowledge and skillsets are unmatched and new features are constantly being developed. The company builds a great relationship with its clients and makes each client feel as though they are the top priority.
