Don't be fooled NOT a real gel manicure!

I purchased the big kit from this company to be able to give myself gel manicures, thereby saving time and money from going to the nail spa. I received the kit early May, but had to wait to give myself the manicure because my nails were in poor condition. I'm firly accomplished at applying polish, and when I used the kit I noticed immediately that a polish "Milky white" was clumpy and streaky. This was supposedly a brand new polish, and should not be like this. I contacted the company, and I can say their customer service answers within a few hours. They suggested that I have a video session live with a teacher...etc. and that they would send me a small bottle of polish thinner to add to this color. Mind you this was a new un-opened bottle when I used it. I scheduled a session, and even applied the polish in front of the teacher/customer service rep. It was OK, Even a bit streaky and not shiny as a real gel manicure. The teacher told me that this is "A GEL LIKE POLISH" Finally! I found out that I was being lied to! This over priced polish isn't a true gel polish, but is being advertised as one. My experience is that this polish chipped, and peeled within a day of application. I tried another color "Poppy" or something like that, and the same experience. anicurist told me if I still have a problem after my lesson with their teacher/representative I should contact them and they'll try to do something (The right thing would be to take back the polish's basecoat, topcoat and give me a refund to them) They push me to give them a trustpilot review (I know they want 5 stars) but I feel I'm very generous giving them 2 stars. Only because of their prompt customer service. They are not honest about their product. It isn't a real gel polish and very expensive for a poor polish that chips and peels almost immediately
