I think this midi keyboard is a great alternative to smaller devices like the Arturia MiniLab MKII (which is also a great device). This one is bigger and has larger semi-weighted keys, which is what I wanted it for. It also has knobs that can be turned in any direction without end. Also comes with the basic version of Native Instruments Komplete software to get started. Unlike the S series, this one doesn't have the large display or LED lights over the keys.
