Use Malwarebytes for your electronic safety.

I have been using Malwarebytes for at least five years I would think. They protect my phone and my computer. I encourage everyone I know to use this platform. Some of my friends have used it. In all the time I have used Malwarebytes I have never had any problems. Meanwhile I know people who have had to bring their computers in to be cleaned of infections.
I also read all their informative emails. You learn about the bad actors out there and how to keep yourself safe.
I highly recommend Malwarebytes.

I base 4-stars on reputation

I base 4-stars on reputation of Malwarebytes and suggestion to use it by Apple. I contacted Malwarebytes several times last year, 2025, and again it was Apple that helped me reinstall the program after a scammer removed it.
I was never able to contact a human or communicate with the bot. I did get instructions to trouble shoot such as "send logs..." which is beyond my skills.
When VPN did not appear to work I did get rapid replies and suggestions from Malwarebytes.
The multiple ways to navigate the site are not obvious. I do not expect hand-holding but do expect the company to be aware of diverse client needs. Bottom line is that I trust Malwarebytes, will continue to subscribe, but hope I don't have future questions.

I started using Malwarebytes over 10…

I started using Malwarebytes over 10 years ago because it was light on the system and truly removes any malware if you by chance happen to get one. Malwarebytes for me actually intercepts most of the stuff in the process of trying to infect your system. I've also used it to clean OP's hard drives that are infected by connecting them to my computer and performing a full scan on them. Malwarebytes finds and removes all infections including rootkits! I've tried a lot of anti-virus over the years and Malwarebytes is hands down the best of them.

Malwarebytes Saved The Day

I was one of the very first Malwarebytes beta customers. Malwarebytes helped restore my PC at the initial Windows pre-login screen. I had a virus. I used that PC for my business. I started using this years ago has a test, just using Malwarebytes and just Malwarebytes. I have never used another software to protect my PC since.I even got the subscription I trusted it so much. I have used PC's since the Dos3.1 days.

Would not think of usiing anything else!!

Never had much luck with the software that does all the advertising. The IT guy at the school where I teach told me about Malwarebytes. He said he had all kinds of problems until he started using it and his headaches went down drastically.

I have used it on our three computers at home and also my father-in-law's for years now and wouldn't use anything else. It runs seamlessly in the background when I manually run a scan and if I leave my machines on at night, it will give me results of the automatic scans it has performed. If I talk to anyone having troubles I always recommend they try the free version to see if it finds anything and when it does, tell them to purchase...they always do!

I love malwarebytes on my laptop

I love malwarebytes on my laptop. Put it on my Apple phone and couldn’t get anything to come through. It lost contacts and information in my contacts so deleted it off my phone after two days. It was really annoying when I was trying to work with a book running and it would cut the book off after about 10 minutes and I’d have to shut my phone off and turn it back on in order to load another 10 minutes of my book in my audio program. Would not recommend this for iPhones.

Just renewed for another 2 years.

Malwarebytes was recommended by my computer person. Best choice I made. I am advised immediately if a website I am going to go on is not safe. Automatic scans are run frequently and results given each time.

Not able to reactivate family pc’s

Not able to reactivate family pc’s. Tried finding a customer service person and no number.

Malwarebytes my trusted antivirus

Malwarebytes has been my trusted anti virus & more for almost 30 years. It finds stuff then blocks or files it without me even knowing I had an intrusion.

But, like most companies these days they don't want to talk you- their BOT can can chat or handle the phone work. But I do not know how to hand of an old computer to a brand new and I have a new one to I'm in the process of changing over. Anyone at Malware bytes listening?
