Do NOT order from this company!!

Do NOT order from this company!!! I ordered a Medium sized dress in MARCH, 2025. It was so small it wouldn't even fit my 14 year old granddaughter. I spent a small fortune returning it and still haven't received a refund as of 8/1/2025, even though I followed very specific mailing instructions including sending it Certified mail which cost me an addidtional $75.00.

I have emailed them several times only to be told "it takes time!" How much time?????

This retail site is a total scam

This retail site is a total scam. This is a company from China & the story about Marys Malibu Boutique is not real. Once I realized I was scammed I cancelled the order over 11 times. The product was delivered in spite of my requests. The product & fabrics & quality was terrible. The dresses were like polyester night gowns from the 1950’s. And they substituted items I didn’t order. I asked PayPal & my credit card for help.
If I could rate the zero I would.
To return the product to China will cost more than the products.
Beware of these retail scams.

The worse products I have ever…

The worse products I have ever received. Poor quality and impossible return situations. Not from Malibu for sure misinformation on all products and materials . All from China poorly made and no way to retur products without exorbanant return to Chinna with NO Quarantees. This is what you get from buyong from ads on facebook

Website is very deceiving

Website is very deceiving. Item I received was nothing like item pictured. After contacting company, I was told that I would be responsible for costs incurred by returning iten. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and after they didn't respond to the credit cards inquiry, I was granted a reversal of charges on my account

Wouldn't use this clothing as rags to wash my car with

Malibu, my heinie. This company should be called China Boutique. The four items I ordered look NOTHING like the photos, in which they appeared to be embroidered. In fact the items feature flat designs on chintzy polyester. I spent an arm and a leg to return them to China (Gosh! Not to California!) and for six weeks I have been attempting to track the shipment but it seems to be lost in space. Finally filed a lost-package claim with the USPS today...In essence, run away! Run away! Do not order from this lousy, deceptive website.

Wrong Color and Size. Beware!!!

I ordered a pair of brown sandals in size 10, and they arrived (over one month later because they are in China, which I realized too late) they were black and size 9 - so too small and wrong color. They were pretty good about replying to my emails questioning what was taking so long. But this was a giant waste of around $50. If I were to return them it would be another $20-40 shipping (per their website) and I don’t even know if they’d get there. VERY annoying.

What a fraud

What a fraud. The top looks nothing like the image. It's printed instead of embroidered. I keep trying to get a refund and no reply to my emails so I am cancelling the payment with my cc company.

Terrible

Terrible. Clothes seem made of paper. They would not fit a human body. I submitted a fraud complaint to my bank. I received a full refund from the merchant via bank. Frances H

Shame on me for being duped by this fraudulent deceptive company.
Mary's Boutique in Malibu does not exist. All pictures of Mary and her happy customers- FAKE -- If only I had Googled Mary's Malibu , I would have saved myself $156.00 and disappointment and embarrassment and time in communication with this fraudulent company.

As with all the reviews- the products I received were of the poorest quality. Cheap Synthetic fabrics- blurry photo printed designs- not as represented on website. The thinnest cheap "linen" not linen not even cotton as stated.

Return Policy- not honored. I immediately emailed requesting a full refund and return address.
Reply 24hrs later - please send us a video of the items you received so we can verify your product order.
I immediately videoed and emailed back.
24hrs later- please revideo the third item.
I replied including new video as requested. 48hrs later, so sorry you are not happy with your items - we can offer 2 solutions:

Option 2 - you can ship the items back to us in China which will be a costly shipping charge which you will be responsible. We e will need to review the items when we do receive them which is usually 4-6wks. If the items are damaged in transit you are responsible for this and your refund will be denied. If the items after inspection are in good condition we will at our desecration refund you. This process could be lengthy, for this reason we recommend option 1.

I replied I choose option 2, please send me mailing information. I requested I be allowed to return to the USA California address that was on the package I received.

No Response!!! Crickets! No refund.

This company should be taken down and no longer allowed to do business in the US.
I have sent info to BBB. Instagram. Congress representatives. - all sites are still active and they continue to send me email adds - even though I have unsubscribed.

Wish I had checked before ordering!

I got sucked in along with everyone else. This is actually the worst quality I’ve ever encountered in online shopping!

The fabric is printed, it’s not actual embroidery. I did go back and look at my order and it says something along the lines of “printed” something or another. I didn’t pay close attention.

This is what I get for late night online shopping - not paying attention to the details.

I’ve sent a few emails and will be surprised to hear back.

Avoid this Company!

I too agree with all the posted reviews. Dumbest purchase I ever made online. Tops are not beautiful embroidered tops....horrible blurry printed tops on some kind of cheap rayon. Also...not in "Malibu". They come from China. No "30 day money back either". You have to send back to China at your own expense..minimum of $40. After many back and forth emails they gave me 30% refund. However, it took weeks to get the refund. I have reported them to BBB and to the Federal Trade Commission. Total fraud and scam company. I too learned an expensive lesson. I am usually a way more savvy shopper. The deceptive pictures totally lured me in! Avoid this company at all costs!!!

total scam...mechandise is shabby...not in the USA..no 30 day m0oney back grantee as they advertise...you have to send back to china and who knows if you'd ever see you money..offered 25% back you keep clothe but who wants and when you accept they say oh no just 10 %...learned a expensive lesson...dont buy fro them

I just filed a dispute with my credit…

I just filed a dispute with my credit card company. I feel stupid for not checking reviews before I ordered. I mailed my tops back and then was told I had to send them to China, so I’m not getting a refund. I won’t die with losing $92, but these people are crooks!
