We have booked through Fede and Maldives Postcards 3 times. He really knows what we like and we always book split stays. He is very knowledgeable and very patient and always looks for the best deals and prices. This year was a bit of a challenge when the war with Iran broke out and thanks to him we managed to book alternative flights to the Maldives straight away. Luckily we did so, as it seemed that days later our original flights through the ME were cancelled. With one day delay we did manage to travel and Fede arranged for the 2 resorts in our split-stay arrangement that the reservation was postponed with one day. Fede is very accessible and a very nice and kind person. We are looking forward to booking through him again for our 5th consecutive year in the Maldives at different resorts.

Fede is utterly passionate about the Maldives and totally committed to ensuring his clients have the best experience. His knowledge is truly encyclopaedic and this enables him to guide his clients towards choosing the resort that best fits their requirements and budget. He is endlessly patient in answering questions and suggesting alternatives.
This was the first time I have booked a holiday using an agent outside the UK, but I found the payment process remarkably easy to navigate. A big plus is that his holidays are fully refundable until a month before departure, enabling one to lock into a good deal when one finds it (with much help from Fede who is a bargain hunter extraordinaire) safe on the knowledge that if an even more attractive offer comes along later one can switch without penalty.
Fede is well known to resort managements and I get the impression that they treat his clients with extra special care. Our first resort upgraded us twice, once on arrival and then again midway through our holiday - and I got the feeling that being a client of Fede’s certainly helped.
He checked in with me at several points during our holiday which was very reassuring and the handover from our first resort to our second resort, via his ground agent was absolutely seamless.
I would not hesitate to recommend Maldives Postcards to anyone considering a holiday in the Maldives.

Fede is an absolute gem! He is amazing to work with because he simply cares that his client and their family have the best possible holiday! He is very prompt, and professional in all his interactions and at the same time is able to be extremely personable.

We had an amazing trip to Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani this summer and Fede ensured that every detail was taken care of. From the very beginning he carefully listened to my preferences for a resort and my interest in a split stay. He knew firsthand the previous resorts we had stayed at and the level of service we had experienced and were expecting. He knew so many details, even minute details about so many resorts in the Maldives. He patiently answered my questions and gave me honest feedback about pros/cons of the various resorts that I had on my short list. He was never pushy about booking or choosing a particular resort. He has a sincere love and passion for the Maldives and is truly an expert of the various resorts. When interacting with him via phone, text or email, you will feel like you are conversing with a good friend that genuinely is interested in making sure you are going to have a great time and get good value for your money. Throughout our trip, he would check in to see how we were doing. Even afterwards!

I have worked with a few Maldives specific travel agents over the years and no one has had as much first hand knowledge as Fede. He makes the time to visit the various properties himself and takes detailed notes/photos/and videos that he can share with the client. For example if you want to see what the beach looks like behind a specific villa number or what the marine life looks like in the house reef, chances are Fede will be able to share photos/video with you! His recommendations about restaurants and even what to order off the menu were all spot on! This ensures you are comfortable and 100% certain about your resort before committing. Anyone who has traveled to the Maldives will understand that choosing the right resort for your family is most important and then secondly choosing the right villa. Fede will 100% help you make the right decisions for your family.

I wish Fede specialized in other destinations because he would be my go to travel agent for all of my vacations! I have already referred him to my sister who has booked a trip in a few months! We will use Fede for all our future trips to the Maldives!

Fede has been so attentive on the get go, he’s definitely very knowledgeable on everything about Maldives and he’s never shy away from advising me if I asked about a particular resort whether it’d be a good fit for me or not. Also during our trip, he kept checking up on us to make sure everything was in order. I’m certainly going to book my next Maldives trip with him again!

You cannot go wrong booking with Fede from Maldives Postcards. We have been to Maldives numerous times and this was our first trip with Fede and we will definitely be using his services again! We had a split stay with some changes near to our departure date and Fede was amazingly patient and nothing was too much trouble. You cannot find a more flexible agent. He is also available on WhatsApp which is a huge plus should you need him whilst at a resort and he works with Hummingbird travel who also have representatives to assist you in the Maldives. He is extremely knowledgeable having visited most island himself and you get a truly bespoke and personal service, which you would not be able to find with the bigger agents. Thank you Fede!

Let me explain... Fede not only KNOWS the resort and their offerings, but he knows everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) about each resorts reef, their rooms, best room location, the beauty of the island, the lagoon, right down to the sand consistency.
Now you may not care about that stuff, but what's great is Fede learns what YOU want out of your trip. What your expectation AND budget are and matches a resort to them. Versus some agents that push where they get the best commission, push their personal opinion or are just not nice (think snobby).
Beyond that (as if that wasn't enough) Fede is beyond patient. I am super anal retentive and Fede is happy to answer my endless emails without one drop of frustration or snark. When one spends this kind of money on a trip, it's common to want it to be perfect. Hence the zillion questions. Fede gets it. He wants your trip to be just as perfect as you want it to be.
We booked our last trip with him and I am now loyal to his company because of his level of attention to detail and patience.
Recently, I was lucky enough to be made aware of a fantastic deal he had, and just booked our 3rd trip with Fede for 2026.
IF you are US based, you will find no other US based agent that knows a fraction of what Fede knows. Most know very little and their prices reflect that. (I learned this on our first foray into quoting the Maldives.) In addition, most Maldives agents are outside the US. That's in itself is not a problem, but it's a nice option to have. Plus communication is not difficult based on moderate time zone changes (versus US to UK, etc.).
Last but not least, his pricing is highly competitive but honestly I would be ok paying a bit more for this level of service. It is really that good!

Have booked several trips already with Maldives Postcards and after having used several other agencies in the past. After 17 trips to the Maldives I would say that this is the most flexible and efficient agency for the Maldives! Strongly to be recommended! Will always book with Maldives Postcards in the future.
