I was hesitant about buying this…
I was hesitant about buying this hosting deal based on my previous experience with another hosting LTD product that I bought on appsumo. I decided to take a chance and bought one code to run a few tests. To test the speed, I downloaded my current website running on this other web host and uploaded the website to Makershost. I ran GTmetrix on my current website (received a 54%) then I ran GTmetrix on MakersHost and recieved a 99% (the exact same website). I am totally impressed with MakerHost. I hope they keep this up in the future. Thank you for restoring my faith in web host LTD's. I plan to buy more codes.

The hosting service has a clean ui for getting everything setup. The only hiccup i experienced was from Network Solutions because they take up to three (3) days to get an "Auth Code", before i can transfer my domain over the MakersHost. So be sure to do your transfers with plenty of time on your side! You need to transfer your domain and pay the $8.99 transfer fee in order to get the emails.
Very good
Very good SAV
Pretty works. The price is good the team that manages it is competent. And the speeds of my sites are really accelerated. I go from C to A on gtmetrix, and on googlespeedinsights I reached 90% on mobile, I've been struggling with the speed of my sites for 5 years, finally I found the answer. Long live makershost
Been using it for the last month
Been using it for the last month, 8 small websites with wordpress, seem fast enough, robust and stable. all websites with uptime monitoring and no downtime so far.
Hopefully they will keep improving their service and stay in business for the long run.
MakersHost is Great Value and Quick!
like many others, I was fed up with paying for monthly hosting and was looking for a lifetime deal. I thought that a lifetime deal for hosting wouldn't be that great, but I can safely say, with MakersHost, they are fantastic!
For a lifetime deal, they offer far more than most hosting providers. I will list below what I like and what can be improved on.
Pros:
- Unlimited bandwidth.
- 1 click WordPress installation
- A generous amount of domains can be hosted, even for the first tier.
- Lots of options in the backend (Like Cpanel).
- Active Facebook group
- Chat support
- Fast speeds on the front end
- They provide a lot of tools such as image optimization, CDN, and other ways to improve your website's speed and performance. This can probably replace other tools you have to pay for.
- Loads more
What can be improved on:
- Emails can take up to a day for a response. Sometimes I have had replies within a few hours and other times, it has been more.
- The backend (Like Cpanel), is easy to use but It can be slow at loading sometimes.
- Not enough documentation or videos. (Hopefully that will come in time.)
- Perhaps a more up-to-date interface in the backend would be nice for the future.
Overall I am very impressed. If you are struggling with understanding the backend, check out Hostmaria's videos on YouTube, they use the same backend. I am sticking with MakersHost as they have really impressed me so far.
I would recommend grabbing this offer whilst you still can, as they can't keep the lifetime deal forever.
Good and affordable
MakersHost is a great web hosting with Free SSL certificates. optimization suite and CDN included. Their prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend MakersHost to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable web hosting solution.

I've been a loyal over paying user of Siteground for years. I'm so happy to find a solution that provides the same awesome experience but at a fraction of the cost.
Good alternative to other hosting providers
Great platform and support for hosting any website. The deal is very interesting compared to our current hosting service. Looking forward to migrating a bigger website on it !
Hosting is okay
I have been testing and comparing this…
I have been testing and comparing this hosting package with my Serverpilot + Digitalocean + Cloudflare setup... about 50$ a month. Network response times are excellent and server seems always quick and responsive. If you setup the included CDN and optimization features you will see load time of < 400 ms for a common home page.
The best thing is that you dont spend additional time setting up a new instance each time you have a new project. It runs smooth and solid. You have a similar cPanel, more simple but powerful yet, you will get used really quick to it.
If they keep the promise this is a nobrainer deal.
incredible quality and price
Despite the low cost of the service, the product and the support is incredible, I love your system.
to an incredibly reasonable price for any entrepreneur.
Doesn't get any better than MakersHost
Doesn't get any better than MakersHost. Quality service with quality staff making sure everything runs smooth for their users.
So far so good!
After playing around a bit with this hosting package I can say I don't regret I've grabbed this deal at all. The first thing I did, before migrating or creating any new site, was to create a test site and have been doing some testing on it, with great results and good feelings so far:
- Network response times are good.
- Server seems always quick and responsive.
- For the ones used to cPanel, well, it's not cPanel, but you will get used really quick. You may miss something from cPanel (I didn't miss anything I need to be honest), but there's also some nice additions.
- The included CDN and optimization features, even if you can get better results with other solutions and some knowledge, they work really well and should be more than enough for lots of sites/people grabbing this deal, and will be probably not worth the additional time spent and/or costs for most of the projects you will be hosting on that kind of shared hosting.
So, all in all, let's say that performance and usability wise, I'm really happy, it's nice for a shared hosting, what I don't like:
- In this AppSumo deal, unless you are stacking 5+ codes and get "everything unlimited", the mailboxes can be REALLY short. Having "on average" 1 mailbox per domain I think is really low in most cases, more mailboxes should be needed, I know I'll need more per domain usually, I'd would prefer to have more mailboxes even if they have less storage for each of them or something like that, I don't know what the solution has to be, but I think that having more mailboxes is kind of a must.
- I didn't need to use the support yet, but in some cases (i.e. the server or the connection are 100% down), the SLA 24h maybe too much, I hope that if it's not done already, pretty soon, the tickets are reviewed fast, and then they are scaled according to the severity of the problem or the question asked.
Anyway, to sum up, is a nice hosting I would recommend.
Horrible Experience! Weeks and counting unfixed issues.
They recently increased speeds, but my sites haven’t experienced this much downtime in my 20 years in the industry. If you have a money site, really be careful as when it goes down, it’s down for days, not a couple hours. They have consistently been longer than the response time they mention.
I’m trying to migrate out to another provider, as this has been my worst experience with hosting, and they aren’t helping. There are errors with the migration they need to help on. Been about a week with no response. Not happy at all! This is the first purchase on appsumo I actually regret.
All in one hosting solution
I’ve been searching for a company that offers everything I need for my website and brand and I’m so happy to be able to have hosting, SSL AND e-mail all under one roof. I really like the fact they have Wordpress one click install also.
For an LTD offer the value is quite good
For an LTD offer the value is quite good. Good standard level hosting with the ability to have a USA datacenter (important to me). Very simple control panel for managing my account, and as a small business owner, I find it refreshing to have good performance and a simple control panel for my websites. So far so good! Fingers crossed for many more years of good service!
Easy onboarding
Easy onboarding, great UI and menu structure, incredible limits for the price, all the features you need for a modern web service included. I mainly use WordPress, but you have plenty of other options to install via 1-click. Email is included as well, which is a big bonus.
Quality hosting solution for small businesses.
MakerHost is the complete hosting solution for small businesses. While all the technical aspects are covered. What we like the most is their long-term vision and the quality of all services on the platform. We are very excited about getting onboard with MakerHost.

It is important that hosting companies respond quickly and provide good support to users. This is a case of building trust on the internet company. Indeed the help center provides support very quickly. In addition, it is very important for the world to use renewable energy sources and I support such initiatives. The management interface on Cpanel is fast and well maintained.
Supercharge your websites by getting them hosted on MakersHost
I was looking for a new web host that had a lot of features and MakersHost has it all. This is a great web hosting provider that offers affordable hosting with a global CDN, integrated optimization suite and SSD storage. The 24/7 support is great and the management portal is easy to use. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for hosting.
