Arrived in good time. Wasn't sure of the colour that arrived, it appeared to be different to one ordered, but I didn't take enough notice.

Sorted out the problem and resolved very quickly.

We were hoping to have an order arrive as an xmas present but due to a strike customer service could not ensure that would arrive in time so they sent another order out. When the royal mail could not ensure it's arrival in time for Christmas they then sent ANOTHER order once again. Safe to say I've never seen customer service go above and beyond so much and it was much appreciated along with the clarity of communication

This was a Christmas gift so I can’t speak for the actual product yet but I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that the items were just thrown into the post bag haphazardly

It would have been good if they were nicely presented wrapped in some tissue or paper

My Makers Cabinet purchase of the Hovel and its accessories was a wonderful experience. From their ad on Instagram which caught my eye to their great informative website and onto the purchase, speedy delivery and their after purchase customer service.
I felt confident and satisfied that I had made a wise choice. Upon trying the Hovel out right away, I was amazed as to how well it worked after only getting used to using it after a couple of tries.
The customer service was top notch, I was treated very well and received the 10% discount that I inadvertently missed while I was in the ordering process and they made it right by acting on this after the order and delivery of my Hovel was said and done.

Response to email very prompt and very happy with my purchase.

Makers Cabinet were slightly too efficient and posted my order twice. This meant (being an honest person) I had to return one of the items which was slightly inconvenient.

The product I bought is excellent and I would use this company again.

I bought a hovel, a case, and some spare blades from makers cabinet.

The products came as advertised I enjoy using the hovel there is a learning curve, but once you get used you will be able to sharpen your pencils quite accurately and fast. I chose the blackwing version of the hovel because of my vain affinity for their brand and product line. I'm glad I made that choice for it comes in a nice black colour and a stand is included. I would recommend a case with the hovel for transportation ina a backpack etc so the blade won't cut or dirty your stuff with old graphite.

I had several interactions with The Makers Cabinets custom support due to some issues regarding customs and delivery. They were extremely helpful and patient. up to the point of sending me several products just to make sure they got delivered.

All in all a great experience

A beautifully made product. It was a gift for my artist/mariner daughter , and she was thrilled to be able to achieve such fine points to her pencils

I have been a fan of Maker's Cabinet for years and my first piece was an Iris. After a lot of use my beloved Iris developed a small fault which unfortunately developed into a major issue. I reached out to Maker's Cabinet customer service and within a few emails, the lovely rep Keval had arranged for delivery of a new Iris. I must add however that I haven't found this minor fault to be representative of my overall experience with Maker's Cabinet. Their pieces are made to the highest quality and are beautiful investments.
