Beautiful furniture with nice quality

Beautiful furniture with nice quality. I ordered a shelf, bed side tables, and a headboard for the bed and they all arrived in good condition and were as nice as they looked on the website.

Makes it impossible to return a wrongly delivered product!

Order number: 103057581

Since we started ordering stuff online ~20 years ago, this is by far the worst experience we have had!

In short, it seems impossible to return a wrongly delivered item!

The story:
We ordered a TV stand on the 11th of April 2021, it was supposed to be delivered 1 month later, but that turned into the 8th of June - not great but 2 packages eventually arrived. Then we saw that the two packages contained 2 different pieces of furniture, one was half of the TV stand we ordered and the other was half of a closet!

The mistake must have happened at Maisons Du Monde's warehouse as both packages had our name and address on them.

Now we naturally we would like to resolve this, by returning them. This has turned into a 3 month-long battle with the company. By sending them an email with a detailed explanation and pictures of what the packages contain, Maisons Du Monde was quick to accept their mistake, but organizing the pick-up has not happened. When calling Maisons Du Monde, the same thing happens again and again: We get send around between departments and eventually get the same hollow promises, with no follow-through. We have now been on the phone a combined 5 hours talking to both Maisons Du Monde well as Dutch and Belgian transport companies, to figure out where it's going wrong. It all ends at Maisons Du Monde, simply because they do order the pick-up of the packages.

This is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional behaviour and therefore I will go as far as saying: Maisons Du Monde is a scam webshop.

I have bought so many items from their webshop but I did not get reply anything regarding to return items!! I want to return those to somewhere but they don't give me any information about it. It appearantly means that they don't accept any return by ingoring our customer request. I DO NOT get money back.
