After receiving damage furniture in August have mail them but no reply from mail ,so had to called and they offer 200euro vocher which I rejected, so they said they will bring me a new one in Sep 9 ,but never received anything called in and they said the furniture is not in stock have to wait until October. So exactly how many months do I have to wait? And you should know in the company system when there will be in stock! Never order from here it was a huge mistake!! Never received any mail or even update no answers when it will be in stock like nothing!!!If I don't get them I will sue the company. Order number 107063995

I just received a chest of drawers I ordered online. The box was in perfect conditions, but when I opened the chest was completely broken and the quality was the poorest I have ever seen. The edges had chips and cracks every where and it looks like the top had been forced to stay in place, cracking the sides. I have been trying to make a refund claim but all I receive (for many attempts) is a message of ' an error occurred'. Very disappointing. I have been a MdM customer for years but this is the last time I buy anything from them.

More than 500 euros on damaged draws
More than 500 euros on damaged draws . The after sales service on the web site doesn't even work if you want to send a message and after 5 phone calls where we were told somebody would contact us in 24 hours each time with no response. We are now been told its now to late replace the item after eventually receiving an email . It seem Maisons du Monde will say and do any thing to steal your money. Never been treated like this ever before by any company. I wonder how long it will be before it all catches up with them. command N° 001910082.

Stay Well Away Unless You Want To Buy Disappointment
After waiting for our delivery to arrive on 7th Sept between 09.13am - 11.13am where my wife and I had taken the day off work and after Panther Logistics sent us a SMS and email to tell us it would be arriving, all we got was - No delivery and a message saying "it's not coming".
We then spent several hours back and forth between Maison Du Monde's customer service and Panther's, both parties blaming each other for what allegedly was a "missing item" - LOL, a 36kg / 190cm piece of furniture is "missing", on the day it's due to be delivered after several notifications from both Maison Du Monde and Panther confirming it was being delivered! Absolutely ridiculous.
Then we proceeded to get back and forth communication, emails from Panther saying they would contact us "soon" and Maison Du Monde saying the item was missing and now out of stock, all you could offer us was a refund - terrible customer service.
Completely disappointed, we accepted our fate and agreed a refund, it was only the next day we started getting notifications again, "your item has been shipped" - excuse me? You had told us it was missing and we would be getting a refund!
So the fun started again...calling Maison Du Monde's customer service and Panthers' and again, both giving us contradicting information!!! Then, after around 6 phone calls and wait time (oh I didn't even mention the amount of times my phone got disconnected and I had to call again and explain the issue repeatedly!!!) we were told the item was "Found" and the reason for the notification from Panther's to say it would be delivered is because they had found it and they would be dispatching it - great news!!!
Ohh but wait... more disappointment, Maison Du Monde now told us because the refund had been issued, they would be cancelling the delivery and we would NO longer receiving our furniture. When we asked if we could quickly re-order it, we were told NO because it would take weeks for the furniture to be returned and it was out of stock in the system, again terrible service and organisation.
So not only did you screw up our order in the first place, you gave us a glimmer of hope, only to take it all away again! On top of this you sent us an email saying we would be getting a refund but only for half the amount we paid, so yes, you guessed it... another call to your customer service and this time we were told we would get a full refund which we did receive a few days later (that's about the only you got right).
During all of which, I was supposed to receive a call from a supervisor, as given the 2 days of ordeal and disappointment, not to mention my wife and I taking a day off work and re-designing our living space, we would get some compensation or discount to possibly even consider buying something from their website, but no, absolutely nothing! No call, no feedback, no sorry, no compensation!
Absolutely shocking and even 2 weeks after the whole experience, I'm still left with a very salty and sour taste in my mouth which I cannot digest!

repeated non delivery of purchased goods
Bought over 30000 euros worth of furniture from Maisons du Monde Nime start of August ... Since then on three separate occasions furniture not delivered ... each time I am rung to say stay in house the furniture will arrive but nothing .. Rang shop multiple times, complained ... never ring back despite promises to, promised compensation, never materialises... it appears maison du monde have not sent all the goods to the transporteur .... here I am still waiting for a delivery ... dreadful service.. dreadful attitude ... was going to furnish the rest of my house and two other flats with their products which are quite nice ... but their dreadful logistics and customer attitude means I could never deal with these people again ... be warned

No reimbursement after cancellation
I ordered a tete de lit in June and after one week I canceled my order and asked for the reimbursement. MDM said that everything was ok: my order was correctly cancelled and that I should have received the reimbursement in a short delay.
Nevertheless the product was delivered one month later. MDM told me I should have refused the product. So did I (the transporter come other 4 times! So I refused the product 4 times by the way…).
Meanwhile I did not received any reimbursement. I have sent several emails and messages on their website. Even if MDM in their general conditions says that the reimbursement should happened in 14 days, this is not my experience. I have sent almost 10 requests (via the website since there is no other clear means to talk to someone), but I am still on hold. In the last email I received, MDM said that the reimbursement happened … but I have still not received anything. I have sent other 3 mails but no answer.
There is no clear contact and the service apres-vente is very slow and not coordinated. The answers I have received were pretty standardized. I am still waiting for my reimbursement…it is a real shame and an immense waste of time and energy. Dealing with this company, even if I like their products, has been and is a very disappointing experience to me.

TREATING CUSTOMERS AS TRASH
Maisons du Monde, where exactly did you sent the email to? I have checked emails (and spam folders) associated with the purchase and this Trust Pilot review and nothing.
UPDATE 1:
1. Even after giving the order number as requested by Maisons du Monde, I was not contacted back. Do not fall for the impression that they are taking care complaints. They are NOT.
2. Today, 14 Sept 2021, we received our replacement sofa BUT for some reason, Maisons du Monde failed to coordinate with the transporter to take back the previous sofa. We called the customer service immediately when delivery happened and here were the solutions: 1) they can reschedule a pickup next week, or 2) they can give us compensation if we keep the old sofa. We were inclined to choose #2 as we do not have the space to keep TWO sofas and here came the joke, they offered 150 euros compensation while the price difference (between sofa we ordered and sofa they delivered with missing items) was 300 euros. So you do the math, after spending hours on phones, weeks on waiting for the items, we still had to bear 150 euros loss. WHAT A JOKE.
So right now there are two freaking sofa cluttering the whole living space for god knows how long. STILL NO WORDS FROM FREAKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. On top of this, we still have to assemble everything ourselves (see below that product was supposed to be delivered assembled).
ABSOLUTE WORST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER IN LIFE. WHAT A DISGRACE, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND ENERGY. There is not even an option to send an email.

I wish I can give a 0 but Trust Pilot does not let me. MAISONS DU MONDE FRANCE: WORST customer service ever. I ordered a sofa and a carpet mid-July to be delivered in August. On delivery, 3 problems: 1) They made an error and a part of the sofa was missing (we bought a U 7-9 places sofa but received an L 4-5 places), 2) A part was damaged, 3) My husband and I had to assembled the sofa ourselves when it said that we should received them assembled (mind you we purchased 7-9 places sofa).
We bought the items to fill an empty living room in our new apartment knowing that we have 14 days to change our minds and exchange with other items. After seeing how they fit in the living room, we want to keep the sofa to 4-5 places and complemented it with two small sofa (fauteuil and banc). But to do so now, we will have to wait until new delivery come, refuse it, re-order using the voucher or returned items and god knows wait how long to get replacements.
Called several times to find better solution or to get compensation (as one French customer service suggested to call back and ask for voucher) but nothing. Just got off of two calls this morning: one a rude English speaking CS (I speak English, husband French) who kept on saying "I can't read your history as I do not speak nor read French" and another who was helpful as first and when asked about the voucher just sped up the convo and literally wished me a great day while I was not finish.
Honestly, avoid at all cost. Wanted to get something a bit better in quality than IKEA but has costed so much time and effort instead. Spend your money elsewhere where you will be treated as you are supposed to as a customer.

I have order some stuff online and unhappy about the quality of 2 products. I wrote to message to customer service that I would like to return it... twice. But no reply. I do understand the circumstances of corona but to be honest it has been two month and would like to have my money back. Worst service ever. Won't order again!!!!

After research ended up in France, spoken to a number of people but none ever lived up to several commitments of calling back to resolve the issue they cause themselves. Online Voucher
I bought an item online and then I immediately cancelled. They offered me an online voucher which I accepted. When I tried to use the voucher as part of payment for a new purchase… the voucher was empty - i.e. no money found 0,00.
By phone they transfer the call several times and never solve the problem. By email, chat etc… no way to have the problem solved. It is now 2 months since I contacted MdM with no success.

The worst service ever!!!
They were supposed to send me a dressing table with a little stool. But instead of the stool they put something totally different. Eventually, when my husband called them, we found out there are no more stools like that. So instead of making us leave the dressing table and give back our money (which would be done in any other country than France), they just said to send everything back and to wait for our money for like one month or more.
Woman on the phone was rude!!! And she hang up the phone.

Smooth delivery process, happy with the bed
After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant about placing an order. However, I really loved the canopy bed I found on their website, and I decided to take a chance. My experience was nothing like what I've read here. The order was shipped within the indicated time frame and delivered into my home (3rd floor, no elevator) without any delay. Assembly was easy and the bed looks beautiful. I've had it for about 2,5 months now and I'm very happy with it. Maybe I've been lucky, or maybe I'm one of the few people who leave a review after a positive experience - I don't know.
DO NOT BUY!!!
I have ordered a couch and the delivery date was supposed to be within one week. After 3 weeks I had to contact them, that they then tell me that the couch got los. I lost 3 weeks time and patience. John from the customer service did not even noted anything down on my account what we agreed on. I had to contact them 5 more times. They were not even able to give me any discount. Then, I was supposed to get the money as a credit so that I can order a new one (which they were not even able to do in the system for me) and one hour later they contacted me that I will get a refund, which I did not even agree on. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Even though the prices seem pretty okay, do not go through that hussle. You will save time and money if you order somewhere else.
Worst customer service for a return
I ordered some products on July 27 and received them on Aug 2. So here, all good. However, I requested a return via my account on Aug 9, and a message that I will be contacted by their customer service appeared. Since then, I have not received any information to return the product. I also called on Aug 13 but still no information on the return. I do shop online quite a lot and I've never had such a bad customer service, even after calling and asking for a quick response.

I ordered something on 21st June and the money was taken out of my account a day or so later. I still haven’t received my goods. I’ve emailed the delivery company twice now and tried to call Maisonsdumonde but no after care. Very poor customer service :.(((

I purchased a black side board. I payed for it straight away. It took 3 months to arrive. It arrived damaged. They offered 200 pounds off. I refused and they offered me a refund. I accepted their offer. They collected the damaged furniture. I never received a refund. I phoned again .they said they will give me a refund in the next 14 days.. no refund arrived. I phoned again they offered a refund in 14 days . Again nothing. I emailed customer services 4 times . Again no reply. It’s now been 3 months I do not have the furniture I do not have my money back. I cannot stress too much how disappointed and how upset we both are. Terrible experience. Phoned again today and they said they are going to send an email.. of course nothing arrived..
Update. they have given me a credit note . no refund . they say they will cancel the credit note and refund me in 10 days... today is day eight ..credit note is still live and no sign of a refund or even an email from customer services.. A sofa left on the doorstep!
Wow! Seriously the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I have just had a sofa left outside by the delivery men because they said it was too heavy for them to carry, and they would not wait 10 minutes for me to bring in a helper. They didn’t even attempt to carry it through the very wide access areas because they just didn’t want to do their job! When help arrived my husband and his mate carried it through in 5 minutes without any problem! If you want a sofa actually inside your house I would buy from elsewhere!
