Terrible quality

For the price the quality of these coats is incredibly disappointing. They are not warm whatsoever and pile after a couple of wears. The worst part of all is the black dye from one of these coats has transferred onto my Chanel lambskin bag and Chanel cannot repair it.

The quality isn't there

I bought 2 items from Maison Maia (The Chamonix cardigan and The Fairmont coat) and unfortunately it is not the quality I expected. It feels very flimsy, no structure to the pieces, the cloth seems like it will be pilling and full of fluffs with very few uses. Also there are no tags on the clothes, the only tag says Maison Maia, no instructions on how to clean or materials used.
I woudln't buy these pieces at a shop for over 40€-50€.
Also, the reviews on the website are not real.. You can't leave a review directly on the shop and the reviews on the store were edited there by the online store.. I hope this helps anyone that is thinking if they should buy from them or not..

I bought a fur cardigan off this company a few days ago. It’s nice, had quite a few compliments but it started to get worn really badly. It’s bobbling from the sides and I’ve only worn it once!
It’s so expensive but absolutely cheap quality.
Please read the reviews before buying unlike me.

This coat is the absolute cheapest…

This coat is the absolute cheapest quality I have ever seen and is nothing but false advertising. It is advertised as a high quality wool coat, but what arrived was a cheap, flimsy product with fake looking fur that started falling apart immediately. The fur sheds nonstop and feels like the lowest possible grade, not even close to what was shown online. There are no tags at all no brand logo, no care instructions, no material information. They didn’t even bother to sew in a basic label, which already says everything about how unprofessional and shady this company is. There is no way this is real wool; it’s clearly a cheap blend with some synthetic material.

This brand is honestly a joke. The moment you try to raise legitimate concerns, they become instantly defensive, insisting that obvious flaws somehow don’t mean their products are low quality or non luxury. That response alone tells you everything. Luxury brands don’t need to argue, they let quality speak for itself. Clearly, that’s missing here.

The packaging was laughable, nowhere near what you’d expect from anything claiming to be “luxury.” It felt cheap, rushed, and borderline embarrassing. Even worse, the brand name isn’t original, it looks suspiciously close to a well known designer, which makes it feel intentionally misleading.

The overall experience suggests the people behind this brand have never actually experienced true luxury shopping. From presentation to customer service, it misses the mark completely. Ironically, fast fashion stores like Primark manage to feel more polished and premium than this. Save your money and expectations, this brand simply isn’t it.

This honestly feels like a complete scam meant to fool customers into paying for “luxury” quality that doesn’t exist. This company does people dirty and should not be trusted. Save your money and stay far away.

Karma will get this blondie owner, she knows exactly that she is selling a bad, low quality products.

Absolute scam

These coats looks absolutely nothing like what they advertise on Instagram and TikTok. The photos and videos are completely misleading. They market a high-quality, luxury coat, but what you actually receive is a cheap, low-quality knock-off.

The quality is honestly shocking. The fur is thin, patchy, and extremely poor quality, and it sheds immediately and strands were falling out as soon as I took it out of the bag. It feels rough, cheap, and badly attached, nothing like the full, plush fur shown in their ads. The coat itself is flimsy, poorly made, and has no weight or structure at all. It does not feel premium in any way.

They didn’t even bother with proper packaging. The coat arrived in a ripped bag, with no tags at all, which already made it feel used. It was heavily creased, clearly not steamed or prepared in any way before shipping. No effort was made to make the item look presentable or new, it honestly felt like something that had already been returned and sent straight back out.

This whole experience feels like a complete bait-and-switch: polished marketing online, cheap product in real life. What you see on social media is NOT what you receive.

Their claim that returns are “easy” is also misleading. They only allow returns through one specific courier, which makes the process difficult if you don’t live nearby. On top of that, you have to pay for returns yourself, even after paying a £15 delivery fee.

Overall, this brand is extremely disappointing. Poor quality, misleading advertising, zero care in packaging, and a frustrating returns process. I would strongly advise people to avoid buying from them.

They use the cheapest fur and the…

They use the cheapest type of wool, jacket is a hair magnet, and the lowest quality faux fur while pretending to be a luxury brand. They even copied their name from a famous designer. The coats are shockingly poor quality with no branding or labels at all. The return process is unprofessional and chaotic. They make their money by misleading and scamming customers. Do not buy from them.

Awful

Do not bother with this company at all. Shocking quality for the price and shocking customer service. I ordered the Fitzrovia jacket. It came shoved into a maison maia zip lock bag, without any tags whatsoever. The jacket was coated with white fluff all over it which was very prominent as I ordered the jacket in the colour black. I also found multiple loose threads all over the jacket and the pockets were not stitched up either. I would normally expect the pockets to be stitched when buying a brand new jacket. For a jacket so expensive the quality is shocking and looks extremely poor. The packaging is also very poor for the price. Don’t bother. Awful.

Coat is okay, customer service is not.

The coat is nice enough, fur is real and the jacket material seems to be decent quality. But within 2-3 wears both seams holding the pockets ripped from the jacket as well as the pocket lining ripping from the coat, customer service is not responding or offering much help. The coat fabric is pilling at the bottom where it is rubbing against the legs. For this price I would not recommend it.

Extremely Delayed Orders and Poor Delivery Experience

I placed an order from Maison Maia (#5929) on August 15th, and as of today I still haven’t received it. This is far beyond a reasonable delivery time — I have never experienced such long delays with any other company.

What makes this worse is that I have already placed another order (#6005), but now I am very concerned that I will face the same unacceptable waiting time again.

I expect Maison Maia to take action immediately, expedite my existing orders, and ensure that future deliveries are handled much faster. At this point, the service feels very disappointing and unprofessional.

Brought a £200 coat but they sent an “upgraded version” which a COMPLETELY different colour. Made me pay to return their item even though it was their mistake and took ages to refund even though they received the parcel ages ago. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Buy from ali express instead
