Thank you for your feedback. We are so deeply sorry that we did not have that particular sale item in stock after your purchase and had to refund you . We are having some unfortunate issues with our inventory system this week due to the high volume incurred by sale. It should have been correct and I apologise for this. We are investigating as to why the top your purchased appeared online when we didn't have the stock. Occasionally it can be human error when processing a return or an exchange.
Wishing you all the best. Again please accept our sincerest apolgies. Like most businesses we are short staffed at the moment and I feel this could have contributed to this online error. The Trust Pilot email is an sutomated email for every customer. I will look into that as well.

Outstanding service and garments
This company really gets it. You order and before you know it the product has arrived. Beautifully wrapped and packaged and never disappointed. I had to change a size on one occasion and this was effortless. They are really customer focused and I always look at their emails when they come in as they are so great to deal with! Thanks Magpie.

Great service and advice from staff
Great service and advice from staff. They were so patient while I spent ages trying on and deciding which size to buy either the 8 or 10, 8 or 10 etc: Love my Trelise dress and with Magpie help certainly made the right decision 👍🤩 very pleased!

Hi Jo.
Firstly, we are so sorry that you were sent the wrong order in the first place. Like many busineses, we have had multiple staff off with Covid, and the recent flu, so the team have been stretched with the workload and in this instance made the mistake with the dispatch of the order trying to do multiple jobs.
My apologies that it was a week before someone got back to you. This is not our usual practice. As soon as the error was discovered, we asked NZ Post to redirect the dress to go to you. Unfortunately they didn't do this and so it landed with another customer. We did not know that this had not been actioned until the week later. Hence the delay.
We are still waiting in anticipation for the dress to come back to us and I have my Ecommerce Manager ready to drive it out to your house today, or as soon as we receive it back to make sure you receive it for your event tomorrow. We understand how frustating it is to order something for an event and we completely sympathise with this.
I will give you a call now to discuss further and help provide a solution that will get you the perfect dress for your event tomorrow.
