October my card was expired and monthly payment didn't go through. I received warning message and made a phone call to customer service. Staff lady didn't know what going on, told me that someone of billing team will contact me. While waiting (nobody called me at all) I received another warning text so finally Magnet changed me 10 Eur. extra for payment delay. In my opinion it is ridiculous that customer has to pay for unprofessional staff issues. She didn't know that details should be changed only on Magnet app. It's took me 10 days someone explained that to me. Also I'm with Magnet nearly 20 years and just shocked now. Will say them bye shortly
To be honest i feel like you take advantage that your the only company offering broadband in The Gallery, Donabate.The service and customer service is terrible. you lodge a complaint and you call again and they tell you the complaint was closed with no resolution. I have been trying to get service for months and no reply.
Excellent support from JP and the team. We have a busy practice and whenever we need help the team are right on hand to guide us and get us back up and running.
Exceptionally poor service!!!! They rang me on 6 occasions looking for payment and on each occassion I ask to speak to my account manager to discuss my account. They said send an email.... I said no, I want to SPEAK to someone.
Finally my account manager emailed me and would not lift the phone to call me.
So I cancelled my account.
They are lazy in the way that they do business.
We submitted a simple port request to Magnet Plus and sought support for exact information to complete the porting. However, there was no response from any of their service departments. All of their email addresses were sent multiple emails over the course of three weeks without a response.
Magnet demonstrated the absolute worst customer service one can expect from a business. Would not sign-up, would not buy any of their products again. Stay away.
Fantastic service from these guys. I have had two big infrastructural problems with my broadband over the last two years and they sorted things out super quickly. Very friendly and patient too!! Would highly recommend.
After having some issues with landline internet service, which were nothing to do with my ISP but were the fault of the grid operator, I was called by one of Magnet's broadband support personnel: J P Waters. He was amazing. Tried his best to get my terrible rural landline to perform better. Spent most of an hour on the phone to me trying to do that. Then called me the next morning after monitoring my line and seeing how it performed. Was extremely nice throughout. What I really appreciate was that he explained to me, without any bullsh*t, what he was attempting the whole time. What the limits of service I could expect were given my line, how far away from the box my house is, the type of line we have, how it functions in terms of upload and download speeds, when it's likely to be upgraded, etc. I've never had service nor transparency like this from an ISP. Fantastic stuff. I don't mind if an issue can't be easily fixed, because these things happen, but i hate being kept in the dark. So this was a breath of fresh air. If only other ISPs provided such information.
