I ordered a CMT router bit from Maginn Machinery on 28 June. The item was shown as in stock when I placed the order.

The parcel was apparently not dispatched until 8 July, and I received the “your order is on the way” email on 9 July. By 20 July it still had not arrived, so I contacted customer support to ask what had happened.

Support told me they were opening a case with An Post and would update me as soon as they received more information. No update followed. I therefore had to contact them again on 23 July, at which point I received an automatic response saying that the person dealing with the matter was on annual leave.

I was subsequently told that a full refund would be issued. At the time of writing, however, I have received neither the router bit nor the refund.

This was a tool required for an active woodworking project. Returning the purchase price eventually does not compensate for a month of waiting, the disruption to the project, the time spent chasing the order, or the additional time I may have to spend returning the parcel should it eventually arrive.

To make the experience even more frustrating, I have received approximately four or five automated emails asking me to leave a review—despite the order still being unresolved.

In summary: the supposedly in-stock product was not delivered, promised updates did not arrive, I had to repeatedly chase the company, and I currently have neither the item nor my money back. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Maginn Machinery.

Turned out the blade I ordered wasn't in stock, so they rang me, told me the story, then sent out an even better one at no extra cost.

Was dead sound of them.

my delivery was delayed because one item was not available. When I called the rest of the items were delivered immediately.it would have been better to know in the beginning that there would be a delay rather than having to call. So I now have no idea when the remaining item might be delivered. Quality of items is top class and we'll packaged
