Sorry to hear you are unhappy with the cost and speed of shipping your order to South Africa. Unfortunately it is not a 3-7 day service to your country and your package is currently held by customs awaiting their clearance and your action.
As you know, we have been updating you through the whole shipping process via our support ticket system and have provided you with full tracking.
I do understand that £25 shipping is more than you would like for this order. The actual shipping cost by the courier was £37.56 however we capped the shipping and paid the rest for you as goodwill.

Really disappointing service
I ordered several gaff decks in red and some magic coins. The order was sent with a handwritten note saying 'Coins to follow' and one of the decks was blue not red.
I waited several days for the coins to show up (still not arrived at time of review) and contacted customer service about the wrong deck. I used the contact form on the website but heard nothing back.
After chasing again via email I was told they didn't have red so the sent blue and if I didn't like it I would have to return the item.
I've had great experiences with this company in the past so it's a shame to see they've fallen so far in terms of customer service lately. I'd advise taking your money elsewhere until things improve.

So much more than a website
I used to read Dominic’s blogs when I first started out as a first started out as a professional 13 years ago and they were always a huge source of inspiration. The website is excellent with really competitive prices, but nothing compares to visiting the shop in person.
In store you can see the magic in the flesh, discover things you’d never have thought about, and get genuine advice from the team. The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and always willing to help you find what works best.
Merchant of Magic isn’t just a shop — it’s part of the magic community. I absolutely love this place and 100% recommend supporting them over just defaulting to online orders.
