Critical system error on Morocco eVisa platform caused denied boarding

I want to share a serious issue with the Morocco eVisa platform so others can avoid what happened to me.

I applied for a tourist eVisa using my residence permit number. The system flagged my application and instructed me to replace a “0” (zero) with an “O” (letter). I followed these instructions.

At the airport, I was denied boarding because the visa number no longer matched my actual residence permit. After checking, the original value was correct — the system had incorrectly forced a change.

I reapplied with the correct number, but received the same automated message again, suggesting this is a systemic validation error rather than a manual review.

As a result:

* I was denied boarding
* I had to reapply and pay again
* My travel was disrupted due to what appears to be a system bug

There is no clear support, no real-time assistance, and no way to resolve urgent issues before travel.

I strongly advise anyone applying:

* Double check your documents against the system suggestions
* Be cautious of automatic “corrections”
* Apply well in advance in case issues arise

This experience highlights a lack of reliability in the platform that can directly impact travelers.
