Mad Science SW Reviews 

Our daughter (aged 5) had a wonderful few days at Mad Science holiday camp in Caversham, Reading. She has done a few holiday camps this year and this one has by far had the best reviews from her, with engaging sessions and enthusiastic team. She could tell us all about the experiments they did and things they learnt. As well as making some new friends. Would certainly recommend.

My twins absolutely loved the madscience camp. We attended several sessions through the summer. This is the second year we have used them and I can honestly say they are brilliant! As a mum of an autistic child it is often hard finding activities / groups for my child but madscience totally took on board his “differences” and accommodated his needs brilliantly! We shall def keep booking. Keep up the great work it’s very much appreciated 👏🏻

Our child's favourite holiday club. He learned lots of new science facts and loved the experiments. He also didn't get over tired or over stimulated while having lots of fun.

My daughter came home from camp super excited every day, telling us about all the cool experiments they have done (loads of different ones throughout the week!). She asked us to pick her up as late as possible so she can take full advantage (she was there from 8:30-4:50 every day!).
Creative ways of teaching children science, kind, supportive and knowledgable staff. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Wish there was a location closer to Reading Green Park! :)

My son went to sessions over the Summer in Cardiff and he really enjoyed himself. He learnt about planets and time, and created his own slime to take home. We also have certificates of his time at the camp. Would recommend. Diolch

My son had a lot of fun - he said it was more interesting than his usual holiday club and he had lots of new facts to tell me. He liked making things he could bring home as well.

My 5 year old absolutely loved the Mad Science club in caversham. She was very nervous and resistant beforehand following a negative experience at another holiday club but the staff were amazing with her at Mad Science and the focused nature of the club gave the structure she needed for a hugely positive day. We are thrilled and so pleased she wants to go back in future holidays!

My child has been attending Redmaids (Bristol) for a couple of years now. It’s really sparked an interest in science and experiments. The other day I was proudly shown a sticker for being a “star scientist”! The children have lots of fun and the admin office is really responsive and good to deal with. I would recommend as a holiday club that combines education with fun. The price point is reasonable too with various deals on offer.

Mad science is a great camp and my son loves it. The activities capture the interest of the children, The atmosphere is relaxed. As many have mentioned I would book more if the cost was reduced. It is expensive for the time compared to other childcare settings

This was our daughter’s first time at Mad Science camp and she loved it. The Allensbank site is easy to access for drop offs and pick ups but also excellent for both the experiments and outdoor play. Our daughter really enjoyed being looked after by the instructor Patrick. Thank you again.

My son LOVES Mad Science summer camps and always asks to go. They offer so many varied activities and he always comes home buzzing. Plus the customer care they offer has been first class with resolving and supporting me with various queries. Thanks so much to the Mad Science Team!

My daughter has absolutely loved the mad science camps. She's had so much fun and learnt so much too. She keeps asking me how long until she goes again!

My son loved the camp in Killay Scout Hut, we booked the week. He said he wants to go back which is something he has never said for a holiday camp before. He loved the 'explosions and dinosaur teeth the best'. Only downside is the cost, if it were cheaper we would probably have booked more.

This is the 3rd camp my son has been too and he absolutely loves going to the Mad Science camps. He comes home telling us everything he has learnt in camp and cannot wait for the next time he is going in.

My daughter really enjoyed the MadScience sessions and it’s our 3rd year where before summer break she always asks if she can return.
They learn lots of new things and making new friends.so happy to see her happy!

I booked 10 week course for my daughter and in the same time my wife did the same. I email them to cancel my booking. they cancel my booking on the 27/11/2024 and still today (20/12/2024) my money are not in my bank account. They are not answer to phone and they've send me an email to wait the return to be procced. I'm thinking to take legal action against them.

The sessions were great and my child enjoyed but they cancelled a week with minimal notice and offered no local replacement leaving us stuck with no childcare.

Our 8 year old daughter has been going for four years, and she loves it. She has definitely preferred it when she has gone for full weeks rather than occasional days, as she gets better connection with the teachers and other kids. She stays for the wrap-around part, and there often aren't so many kids there, but this year one of the students assisting started teaching them how to make puppets in this extra time. I guess there will come an age when she doesn't get so much out of it, but not yet.

My son has spent 3 weeks in mad science camps at cathedral school. He enjoyed all the experience and activities during the course.Staff also been very kind, interactive and supportive. However, I thought it would have been better if the camp have had provided a small kit or information kit as a return gift at the end of their last day or course. W

Our daughter spent 5 days at Mad Science at Compass Point over the summer holidays. She absolutely loved it! And the whole experience has been another level for us too, could recommend Mad Science highly enough.
