Signed up for a tour, they gave me something completely different
I booked a the Sand Hollow Dunes ATV tour in advance and was specifically told to arrive 30 minutes early. On the day of, another customer showed up late and wanted to do the Rip n Ride tour. So instead of doing the tour the rest of us signed up for, someone at Mad Moose decided we would spend 40 minutes sand boarding instead, in addition to the 40 minutes we left late. Of the two hour tour, we got approximately 40 minutes of the actual riding we paid for.
What's worse: they never told us our tour had changed. I only found out after comparing the GPS coordinates from my phone on the exact same tour I booked earlier in March.
When I reached out to them about it, they claimed they "did their best to keep everyone happy." How about giving us the option decide if that's what we want or not? A tour that's 80% different from what was advertised deserves a full or near-full refund, not a token gesture.
If you book with them, understand that last-minute changes to your experience may happen and they cater a little too hard to last minute reservations. It's an uphill battle to get them to do the right thing considering how hard I had to work to prove what really happened.
