Scammers

Unsurprisingly they've gone into liquidation after withholding money from background artists. Shameful company. I've been waiting 3 years for a payment.

Mad Dog don't pay SA's

I did a job for them in October 2023, and it took numerous emails, a letter from my mp to the business minister, and taking out a CCJ to get my pay.

Useless agency that are still trading despite being insolvent.

Scam

I have completed 2 jobs with Mad Dog 2020 and have not received payments for either. Their FAQs state artists should allow 6-8 weeks for payment, it has been 12 weeks since the last job I did and still no payment. Lots of jobs come through from Mad Dog but you are never going to get paid, all of these companies are huge scams.

Awful awful company

Awful awful company. Had to chase payment up after 4 months of not being paid, then I was only given half of what I was owed. When I questioned this they added more cuts for themselves so wouldn’t give me the full amount of what I was originally owed. They also deleted my account so I can’t prove the original pending payment, when also questioned they claim to haven’t deleted it.

Actors please avoid this company.

Had I known all the issues surrounding…

Had I known all the issues surrounding this 'company' I would never have agreed to SA work. Quite frankly the people involved in this business should be ashamed - morally and ethically. Like many others, the amount I'm owed is negligible, However, it has become a matter of principle!

On behalf of all those who are owed a lot of money, I truly hope you get a satisfactory outcome! For anyone considering work via Madddog - AVOID

Avoid like the Plague

Please, please, please avoid this agency at all costs. I am owed close to £1000 for a job I did back in October 2023 and I am using our legal system to obtain what is owed. Those that continue to take work from MD2020, and the production companies that continue to use them, are complicit in their unscrupulous practices. What if it was your family being deprived of hard earn income?

NOT TO BE TRUSTED

The one star is to be able to leave a review. I am joining all the bad reviews already on that case. They do not pay for your work, they ignore your emails, they have cut their phone line, they hardly reply to their app-chat.
It started a few months ago with me and I am still waiting to be paid.
THIEVES, CONS TO AVOID!

Thieves!

Mad Dog used to get me amazing work years ago. Last December they were asked by a production company if they could use my image for a still I did four years ago again and I agreed.
They took the money and never even told me I was used again. Nearly 12 months on and I still haven’t been paid. It’s over £1K they still owe me and have stolen. It’s with the High Court now and I hope I’ll get my money including what it’s cost me to take them to court.
I heard they are still not paying their clients this year either do I couldn’t take any jobs from them if I were you.

Awful untrustworthy company

Horrible experience with this company, have been paid for a job I did on July 20th 2023, I’ve emailed them only to get a generic “looking into it” email copy pasted to me so many times, never use maddog unless you like never being paid for your work

Do not work for this agency!!

Do not work for this agency!!
I have been waiting to get payed for a role i filmed on 04/06/24.
I was payed in the 17/10/24 nearly 5 months after completing filming which i was heavily involved in to the point i was the only actor being filmed.
I emailed their accounts team 3 times asking to be paid, i was continually fobbed off with run of the mill replies.
On the 17/10/24 Maddog2020 paid me £23.02 for that days acting.
This has clearly been done due to my complaining.
This is an absolute amateur organisation who don't give a dam about its employee's, that much has been proven.
To any Maddog executive who might read this, you are a disgrace and i don't know how you get away with it.
You will not get away with this with me, i am going to report this to the relevant authorities.
Absolutely disgusting!!
Do not work for these amateurs.
