It does most of expected tasks and finds also the USB connected devices that some doesn't.
As at least for me cloning is very rare occurrence and only done for system drive, the fact that their site doesn't mention that they don't allow cloning system drive with the free version, so it is kind of expensive to pay one time occurrence for that kind of money.

I just had a satisfactory support experience with Macrium. Prompt reply and clear response.
I'd also like to take a moment to compliment the software. I have used the product for several years. In my experience, the software restores what it backs up exactly. I have never had a corrupt restore.
The software has always backed up and restored quickly and efficiently. The latest version, X, is faster.

Complete BS software! Whatever you do don't even install it! They pay big marketing fees to companies, and when you install it wipes off computer totally and all you can do is purchase paid version for 50$ to fix it. Avoid at all costs!

To clarify, we don't use any marketing fees to companies, other than for Google and LinkedIn adverts. The trial version is exactly the same as the paid-for version and we offer support for both, so there's no reason you would have a different experience before or after purchase.
I liked the ease of use.

Reliable backup and restore, great imaging
I recently upgraded to the latest version of macrium reflect. I have used this product for several years to back up my computer. It works flawlessly, and when my pc died last fall I was able to easily restore the information I needed onto my new computer. The only negative I would give is that the program is very complicated for a home user like myself to start using, but given a little patience and using online references, the difficulties can be overcome. I trust this program to run my backups automatically.

After upgrading to subscription model…
After upgrading to subscription model for Reflect X, the software has been very erratic and unreliable, running into errors when creating backup images.
Also, the software infrequently complains that the license is used on another computer and offers to either update on this computer or purchase a fresh license although this is the only pc on which the software has been installed.
The subscription fees have been increased threefold making the software unaffordable.
All in all the Reflect X is pathetic and cannot be relied on anymore.
I will be moving to a competitor after being a user of this product for about 15 years.

For an enterprise backup solution Notification are unreliable
For an enterprise backup solution, notifications are not reliable for letting you know that the system is not backing up anything. no backups were run for more than 2 weeks (no scheduled daily incr, weekly diffs nor full backups ran) and Macrium did not send a single notification and yes notifications for warnings and failures were enabled. Less than Thrilled....

The software is good and fast. The User Interface could use some work. The scheduling module is a bit awkward and confusing at first.

The software is good and easy to use
The software is good and easy to use. I only have one problem, but I think it's Microsoft's problem. If I have a System image that has the user's OneDrive with files in it, I cannot retrieve those files. It gives me an error saying "... the (One)drive is not mounted...". I experienced that right after my first backup so now, I make sure all the files in the OneDrive are copied to another drive before I do my weekly backups.

The increase in speed AND ability to resume after interruption are great additions to the product which I value highly. My only 'gripe' is the change to subscription charging. I can accept this for business users but as a solo retired home user I almost didn't make the move. Here you information about what would happen to those with a previous one-time payment for '8' was (to me at least) confusing.
